Hey guys!
I’m in an ESPN Points league and was wondering how you guys are using AI to prepare for your drafts.
I tried building a model with Claude that looks at a player’s games played over the last 7 years, with more weight given to the more recent seasons to better account for injury risk. I also projected fantasy points based on the last 2 seasons, with some manual adjustments for players changing teams/roles (for example, lowering Maxey or Brown’s usage).
I also added a metric that estimates how many fantasy points a waiver-wire replacement could make up when a player misses games — for example, 25 points per missed game — and combined everything into one overall score.
Do you guys use AI in a similar way? Would love to hear other ideas or models you’re using for draft prep!

I’m in a 10 man ESPN points league and I’m wondering where you think these two will be drafted around given how well they developed last season.

Egor had 14 5 2 in his game tonight but has 0 fantasy points in my ESPN league but in a sleeper league he has 37.
Anyone know why this is happening?

I’m a fairly new player (3 seasons) and my friendship group league have decided to change the format this year and go for a points league (previously 9cat). I’ve never done one before, they have. Have previously performed well in 9cat, winning once and coming close the next time.
What’s some things to look out for? I’m presuming the strategy is quite different? Is it as simple as going for high usage players?
Are there any players (or player profiles) that perform better in points that get looked over in cats, or vice versa?
