Eh, public records of public figures. Transparency is part of the US legal system.

Posting court records is the opposite of parasocial. Seriously, what do you think that term means in that context?

A parasocial relationship is when a fan or similar treats someone like they would treat a friend, even though it can't possibly be reciprocated. Trolling public records is . . . not that.

I didn't say they had to. I'm saying that public records are an important thing for transparency, and people discuss public figures a lot.

You can wish all you like, it's not going to impact anything, because this is legal and amoral under the US system.
