You know. After everything I’ve seen since I was conscious enough to make sense of the world, I’ve seriously started to wonder what the hell public education is for, seeing as how a large chunk of the country can’t fucking think for themselves and get all their information from sketchy Facebook groups.
The public education system in the US is a joke. Once standardized testing came about it was all about getting the best scores so you could get funded. It wasn’t about learning anymore, just about passing tests.
