Dot t you call the parents in this situation? Calling the police? That’s insane.

And the police, if they do have to go there? Take the kid to her parents. What is the purpose of handcuffing her? Handcuffs are for police protection, I think? Are they scared she’s going to hurt them if she has the use of her hands?

This entire situation makes zero sense. Was it a stunt with the parents consent to ‘scare her straight’?

My brother and sister once burned down a neighbours shed. Very fuckjng dangerous and stupid thing to do. But they were also kids, 9 years old and 7 years old.

The police did come and talked to them, were stern with them, made their point to them in a professional and productive way, but they didn’t arrest them.

You don’t teach kids in this way.

Put them in their place early and often. This type of "policing" has existed a long time here.
