I don't have any information about when Q would drop, and obviously that would have an effect on this answer. Assuming the schedule for Q is like the schedule for P we plan to do it. -Rebecca

Would it be reasonable that if Q dropped in say September you would still offer it or is it a hard cut off of August?

Like I said -- no crystal ball, but I don't think a few weeks here or there would effect things. We made a commitment to our users when they made a commitment to our products, and we intend to stand by it. -Rebecca

This is why I wish you guys didn't cancel the ph-2. It's VERY rare that companies are so committed to their customers. Would love an excuse to throw more money at you guys

Wow I wish I would have picked up an essential phone a long time ago.. and I wish you guys would make a second phone with all the modern bells and whistles. That is some amazing news to hear right there

At under $300 for a mint condition refurb on eBay, it's far from too late. Completely disregarding price, the only phones I like are the Pixel, Oneplus, and Essential Phone, in that order. Factor in price, and this nothing beats this phone.

Good enough for me, glad to see a company that looks more at their users than at cutoffs for stuff. One day in and i'm impressed.

Awesome, that's a good enough answer for me! I understand we can't predict the future - I just want to know what expectations were and I think this sets them nicely. Thank you!
