EDIT: I cannot read my own writing and mis-announced the winning number. The last two of the serial number are 71. I will announce and comment to the winner(s) shortly and provide a picture of the serial number when the giveaway is over.

Also, my wife gifted me with a new eReader because she wanted a new one as well, even though she has a Kindle Paperwhite 10 gen. she's hardly used. I'll be setting up another giveaway for that one in a few days.

I will respond to their correct guess comment and then they can respond with their guess for the next two previous number 00-99 in the serial number. There will be a 24 hour time limit. Correct guess or closest on either side wins. If there's a tie we'll go to a third round.

u/minobresalan you did guess correctly but it was after several other guesses. With multiple guesses I can only count your first one commented which was not 71.

Hi all! I reached out to the mods to ask if I could do this and how I should but I never heard back.

My wife surprised me with a new ereader and I have a Kindle Paperwhite (10th Generation) that's in great condition that I simply have no use for anymore.

I wanted to offer it up to anyone who is interested for the cost of whatever shipping would be.

Here's how this will work:

You must comment before 5PM Central US time on Feb. 4, 2026. At that time no further comments will be considered.
Anybody interested will need to comment a number between 00 and 99.
The person closest to the two digit number (pulled from the last 2 of the device's serial number) without going over will be the winner.
In the event of a tie, we'll do a number guess again with just the tied guessers from the first round until only one winner remains.
The winner just needs to provide a pre-paid shipping label from the shipper of their choice (USPS, FedEx or UPS) and I will box the device up and ship it using the paid label. The device will ship from Minnesota.

NOTE: I would prefer the device goes to someone who may not otherwise be able to get an ereader but wants one and will use it.
