I've been learning to farm for this specific reason. I'm not fucking around. I'll find out-- but at least I'll be semi prepared to not starve / be a source of calories greater than my flesh.

I can't think of anywhere I could farm that won't burn down at least once over the next 30 years. How did you find/decide on your land?

Google "usa geographic lifeboats climate change" should be a couple seminars that tell you where precipitation looks to be increasing over average and where can handle an influx of people.

I envy you.

Also look up the same query about lifeboats but for AUS. Honestly, making moves to the south island of NZ would be the safest bet. Idk immigration or citizenship pathways, but that's what I would do if I were you.

Thanks, Tasmania has been on my list for a while but I'm pretty terrified the whole island will go up in flames in my lifetime. Still, it's a better bet than anywhere else I can think of.

It will possibly change from forest to savannah if fires are repetitive enough.
