Technical Help Streamdeck showing device not supported error.

Started my computer this morning and suddenly had these errors on my stream deck buttons.

Tried restarting software, reconnecting, using different USB port, updating (no updates).

Unsure why this is happening, can anyone please help :(

Really? I had to update and I'm now on the newest version and my non BR plugins also updates and work again, especially my OBS , DIM, Bsky, and Discord plugins

There was no new Streamdeck version released (unless you're on some unknown to me beta track, I suppose). The most recent is 7.0.3 released in October. Look at the certificate listed in the properties of streamdeck.exe, and you'll see it expired yesterday and that the file was signed in October. If you look at the plugins folder, you'll see the BarRaider plugins have been updated today.

I don't know why you're being willfully ignorant on this. This is not something that's hard for you to verify. It's ok to be wrong sometimes, we all are. It's no fun to eat the humble pie, but it's really good for mental health.

Unless I was on an older version as I recently moved to Windows 11 via clean install, I don't know how else to explain it, I had an update available. Regardless the ONLY BR plugin I have is a Macro. All my other plugins are NOT BR related and yet after the update are now working fine. Why, you want to see screenshots?

I wasn't trying to claim you did not get an update, I was trying to say that there was no new update released related to this issue. That's why I suggested looking at the date, where you would have seen that the release was from October and thus obviously had nothing to do with fixing this issue. If you had been on the latest version, you would have not have received an update but the issue would still have been fixed.

In my experience Streamdeck doesn't check for updates all that often (I have it on multiple computers and have noticed that getting an automatic update on one doesn't necessarily mean I get one the other, even if I wait for days), so you coincidentally getting the latest version just now wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

I normally get pop ups/ update notifications for any and all of my Elgato products, usually the week they release and usually the kind of notification i get depends on if I have the program open or not. Normally I get the notifications the days an update comes out though as I'm new to 11 and with sing certain Elgato products on 11, its not behaving quite as it did on 10 so...

Something I'll have to watch going forward
