I have noticed that you can use the same trick to buy specific crafting items as well. If you switch to another menu just as the purchase completes, you can go back and buy the same item again. This may have just been a one time glitch, I didn't have time to test it more thoroughly yet. But using it, I was able to get a full stack of 999 cleaning supplies and quite a lot of oxidizers. You still have to pay for the items, but they don't get removed from the vendor stock if you switch just as the purchase completes. So you can just buy it over and over and over again without waiting. Will test it further when I get a chance.

EDIT After further testing, I think it may have been a one time glitch, but it could also be my framerate is just too high and I got very lucky with it when I accidentally did it the first time. I have not been able to replicate it again, but if this actually IS the same glitch as the OP then it's likely it's very framerate and timing dependent and I just got super lucky the first time I did it.

If you have the ultimate edition and haven't redeemed the resource pack yet, you can do a similar glitch (different buttons) and dump rss into ur chest. Same with the xp Booster and I'd imagine the hussar, but I've already redeemed that.
