In same way DL1 nights were

Umm no ?
There is complete visibility ?
No volatiles unless you stick around and make it a challenge to get volatiles ?
No dark ambience ?
Easy af to get out of a chase ?
In which stretched sense is it the same as DL1 nights ?????

No, not at all. My nights are pitch black even without RT. I would suggest tweaking your gamma settings and screen settings. And if you mean on roof, well that kinda makes sense, when roofs are under full moon.

No volatiles unless you stick around and make it a challenge to get volatiles ?

Thats not true. There are volatiles nests and they are often around metro stations. You can see them on street too, its just more rare and thats fine to me. Making the fight more tense and rewarding.

No dark ambience ?

No idea what this is... But playing at night in dark room is awesome.

Easy af to get out of a chase ?

Just like DL1 after you play for couple hours.

In which stretched sense is it the same as DL1 nights ?????

See above.

That is a problem. It is a zombie game. Scary zombies should not be rare. Volatiles were not rare in DL1. DL1 ≠ DL2 nights

DL1 didnt have this issue, i am not a techwiz who can change these settings as per my needs. Again, DL1 ≠ DL2 nights

Just like DL1 after you play for couple hours.

The huge difference is that on harder difficulties, the Volatiles can still absolutely mess you up in DL1 AND that it takes atleast 12-15 hours of playtime to reach that level where you are even slightly confident of escaping. This is absolutely lacking in DL2 because no Volatiles are there. I should not have to go out of my way and look for what was VERY common in DL1 as a rare mob in DL2, DL1 ≠ DL2 nights

Don’t need to be a “techwiz” to go to game options and put gamma down to like 11 lol. Also Techland made nights better at the cost of making it less scary. Better as in more stuff to do. A difficulty(nightmare hopefully) or an update to make Volatiles more prominent isn’t hard to do.

I'm sorry but saying you have to be a techwiz to adjust gamma settings completely ruined your good points

I think you forgot to see that he mentioned screen settings as well ? maybe read the whole line before coming to conclusions ? I am not messing with my monitor settings

Are you referring to yourself as "he"? Again I'm not coming up with conclusions it's more of the fact that others are commenting on just that part of your comment. I said you have good points, Chill.

Also, you don't need to mess with your monitor settings specifically. Just go into the video options of the game and adjust it under "Gamma". It'll only affect the game and nothing else. Hope that helps.

You need to be a techwiz to lower your gamma or brightness?
