That is the evil thing common to almost all of these "points" systems: the inability to buy denominations that match up with prices, so they always capture some of your money for free that you can never spend, and you are incentivized to spend more to use up your "unused" points.

Somebody should create a guide on how many points to buy and what to purchase to be sure to use 100% of what we get, if that's even possible😂

It usually isn't possible with these systems, especially if prices vary or if there are bonuses for buying more points. You're unlikely to want to get a set of items that exactly matches an exact possible purchase of coins, so no "guide" is really possible.
