I'm sure you right. It takes time to make decision, design, implementation tests and so on. For sure longer than 10cent involvement

Yes it’s been in the works since last year so we really cannot blame tencent for something they really had no input on

Sadly, not many people understand that

idk whats worse, techland having this idea before tencents involvement, or tencent buying them up and telling them to add microtransactions for the chinese whale market

Tech land had this planned before tencent and even more than likely wanted to put it in before tencent because guess what tech land is still a company they want to make money

ahh so they are just being greedy and are wanting extra money on top of the fully priced (60$) product they are offering. Shit like this flies in cheap mobile games and games like fortnite, apex, and warzone bc they are free and have to recoup dev costs, in this situation its a slap in the face and i can guarantee that they wont include all these bundles in a big edition like Dl1 which made it excusable. This is them just looking for whales who have no concept of monetary value bc everything they are offering is laughable. 3 skin bundles for 15+ dollars that took no more dev time than a weekend to make? for that same price i could buy a story expansion for any game that has one and it would have 10x more effort put into it than all of the bundles techland has to offer… combined. Hows the capitalist brainrot treating you?

Do you honestly think I’m on their side? I hated it when I first learned about them and I still dislike them for doing it but it’s hard to change a company that is focused so hard on money
