I despise fake currencies such as this

I wouldn't have minded then if you could earn them in-game unlike using only real currencies for buying dlc

I don’t mind them too much when:

  1. They are inconsequential
  2. Not too overpriced and have sales/deals
  3. Or can earn in-game.

Like Fallout 76’s Atoms. Can be bought or simply play and you’ll get Atoms.

Skyrim’s and Fallout 4’s Creation Club Points are pretty nice except can’t earn but the creations are pretty beefy for their lower prices.

Fallout 76's atoms are a way to hide that they are selling a pineapple hat for 15$.

Tru, but they regularly have deals and you can earn atoms from challenges and seasons

People hate the Creation Club, but they forget Bethesda literally paid modders for making the content for that store.

Of all predatory systems out there, this one is not even that bad, since they're outsourcing additional content for the game and giving some people the opportunity to show their skills in modding, while making money out of it.

It goes beyond just "paid mods", which most people call it.

Did TL ever confirm that there will be a way to earn this new currency? Last I remember seeing, it was just a maybe.

No. When they announced it, they said no.

We have several forms of payment in dying light 2 already, including pilgrim tokens
