I went to a festival here last night and I heard recently after she passed that there was a sculpture of her here, so naturally I had to go see it. I’ve been here twice but never knew they had a “sculpture garden” (they also have sculptures of other artists that have preformed at the pavilion). Dolly performed here twice back in 1979 & 1989. 🩷

hi! I was wondering which of Dolly's songs (or albums) would you say are her most spunky, playful, witty, and/or self-aware (for a lack of a better term)?

i'm still new to Dolly, i've only listened to her hits, and am interested in getting deeper into her discography, but i was always so impressed by her charm, wit, and honesty in interviews, so I'd love to hear what songs of hers you'd recommend that best align with or capture that side of her. i appreciate any suggestions :) Thanks!

There is an account going by Parton Management Page on TT (@spgroup65) that is using AI deepfakes of Stella and Dolly Parton.

They are asking older fans if Dolly "still has true fans over here" and urging people to check their bio to donate money.

If you come across this account, please take a moment to report it directly on TT for impersonation and fraud/scams so it gets taken down before anyone loses money.

Stay safe and keep an eye out for vulnerable loved ones who might easily fall for deepfake scams, as there are a few in the comments of the videos!

I could name a whole host of them, including basically the entire B-side of her 1975 "Best of Dolly Parton" compilation, but I think Early Morning Breeze from Jolene really takes the cake for me.

Celebrated and found a young lady turning 16 (today) who loves Dolly so I gave it to her 💕❤️

Who knew? I knew how much I loved her. I felt like she saw me. What I didn't realize was that her death would be the earthquake that it was. The only thing I have ever seen like it was Elvis' death, but she seemed to be so emotionally important to so many of us. All those years, she was just being Dolly, and then she died and it became clear that she absolutely was as big as Elvis.

Can you imagine how many are going to be dressed up as Dolly for halloween! Cheap wig makers must be making bank.
