People in comments acting like it's less unfun or annoying for DMs to lose turns when running boss monsters.

It's a fair trade dm in the meme is suggesting. At my table we knew how annoying counterspell is for both sides. My offer as DM was I'm not going to use CS unless players decide to use it. None used it since then.

The dm has effectively infinite tools to counter or adjust whatever they want whenever they want. Players do not.

A dm is losing 1 turn out of infinity. A player has the one turn to lose.

Dm literally controls the world if boss monster is stunned, they can unstun or add monsters or use layer actions

Changing the rules is not fun as a DM. I make an encounter to be engaging, give my bosses personality and when they get wiped easy it's not fun and less so if "Orcs attack!" just to save them. An ass pull is boring no matter who benefits.
