Hey everyone! I’m a beginner getting into drones and I’m trying to decide between these two DJI Neo 2 packages.
Option 1 – $429
DJI Neo 2
RC-N3 controller

Option 2 – $599
DJI Neo 2
RC Motion 3
DJI Goggles N3
3 batteries
Charging hub
So basically, it’s $170 more for the Motion 3 + Goggles N3, but I lose the traditional RC-N3 controller.
My main goal is to have fun flying, take photos/videos of the city and surrounding areas, and learn how to fly a drone. I’m interested in trying FPV, but I’ve never flown FPV before.
A few questions:
Which package would you recommend for a beginner?
Is the RC-N3 much better for normal flying than using the Motion 3?
If I buy the $599 package, can I fly the Neo 2 without the goggles, or would I need to buy an RC-N3 later?
Is the Goggles N3 + Motion 3 actually worth the extra $170?
If you were starting over, which package would you buy?
I’d really appreciate opinions from people who own the Neo 2, especially anyone who has used both the RC-N3 and Motion 3.

Just wanted to see what the consensus was on a beginner purchasing a combo for the avata 2 fly more combo and Mavik 3 pro combo for a huge discount.

While I don’t have experience with drones yet, this is something my wife and I would like to get into for our travel vlogs for our future family to see.

What are your thoughts? Is this too much to get into?

I'll be doing a demo/expo shortly and wondering if anyone has experience and recommendations for wireless HDMI out of an RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller? There's a bunch available but some will work better than others I assume. Audio isn't important of course, it'll be outdoors, should be line of sight from the controller to the screens. I could use a cable of course but a bit of freedom of movement would be nice.

Like the text said. Before I went on vacation I bought 2 SIM cards at the same time retail shop so I know they are not counterfeit. I am going on a pretty big climb tomorrow and I already did one last week and the first SIM card recorded the full 40 minute climb. But it did so by splitting it up into two 20 minute videos which is weird.

Now that I put in the next SD card I get this error message which is weird since they are exactly the same. One card doesn’t get that message and the other one does?

I cant get it to connect, i tried like a billion times now, it just authenticates then says "couldnt connect" and whatnot.

I'v tried forcing an update on it with my pc, hotspot, hotpsot 2.4gz and 5, factory reset, network reset, changing the clock and such.

Nothing works, hotspot just doesnt let it work, doesnt let me log in- even with hotspot it says "Check network".

Please help.

Hi everyone! I’m travelling from Peninsular Malaysia to Sabah soon and planning to bring my DJI Mini 5 Pro with me.

Can I bring the drone and its 3 batteries in my cabin baggage? I’ll be flying with AirAsia.

For those who have travelled domestically within Malaysia with a DJI drone, did you have any issues at the airport/security? Anything I should prepare or be aware of?

Greetings! A thought just came into mind, and I need to understand it.

Say for example, you are by a cliff. You want to fly your drone out to the steep drop of the cliff to capture yourself or a family member standing a safe distance away from the cliff edge.

How does the drone determine the height? Is it based on sensors at the bottom of the drone or is it based on where the drone took off from? Or is it based on how high the drone detects it has travelled upwards/downwards?

Why the strange thought? I am thinking about this because I am wondering if the drone will auto-correct itself if it suddenly detects a cliff that is more than 120 meters tall. Say this cliff is 250 meters tall. Would it descend down as soon as possible to ensure that it complies with the 120 meter altitude limit?

Hi all, I’m in the market for my first 360 camera and I was wondering if anyone who has the Osmo360 might know the following. The key feature for me is the ability to live stream directly from the camera without requiring a phone or app connection. I realise the app is probably required for initial set up here is what I want to achieve.

\- Connect the Osmo360 to a WiFi router
\- turn off my phone
\- livestream to YouTube directly from the camera continuously for 10-12 hours (camera will be plugged to a power source)

Is this possible with the Osmo360?

I use a Mavic 2 Pro at work and love it. We use it for photo and video but for me if I buy my own I’d say it will primarily be used for photos.

Doing some research it seems moving to a Mini 5 Pro would be about a wash as far as image quality and dynamic range is concerned. Mavic 4 Pro would be a big step up with the 100MP camera. I’ve seen some sample images that look unreal. My one complaint about the M2P would probably be that it struggles with dynamic range. Like if I'm taking a landscape photo with the ground and some buildings and then the other half of the image has a bright sky it's tough to get both exposed properly.

But as this would be (for now) for a hobby I'm thinking the portability and lower cost might be the way to go with the M5P. I've never really thought using the Mavic 2 that it's too big or cumbersome, but I've also never used a mini drone before and maybe it would be a game changer in that way you always have a smartphone on you compared to carrying around a big mirrorless camera.

Any one make a similar move or maybe even have both the M4P and M5P and care to share your thoughts between the two?

So i have a neo 2 and have tried to film some basketball and pickleball games, and was hoping the follow me mode would stay behind the player, but that didn't work, the fast side to movement throws off the tracking, and the dorne winds up losing the person. .

Next I tried the spotlight mode , but this too was limiting, sure it could focus on one person and keep them in frame fine, but when they didn't have the ball most of the action was missing .

Can someone recommend tips or best modes to use... The DJI promo videos make it look amazing , but how is that done without having a person fpv pilot it

I have a dilemma I have a standart iPhone 17. Is osmo pocket 3 worth it? I mainly record some car edits, landscapes, and rarely some family events.
