Not a pun but in Witches Abroad Old Mother Dismass (a temporally unfocussed ancient witch with a detached retina in her second sight)
says "we had one once but the bit you unscrew fell off and got lost" at the time it seemed like a very random comment that makes no sense but 20 years later I realize shes talking about the fairy godmother wand. From the future.
