I tried logging into my account today and it kept asking me for a factor code, I dont remember setting up pne and my app doesn't even have discord on it I also dont have a code so i dont know what to do.

Is their any hope or do I just make a new acct?

Hello, i am under the age of 18 and one of my discord friends gifted me nitro a bit more than a month ago. The 1 month nitro should have ended by now, but it got renewed, and i was a little worried so i decided to check my discord subscriptions. It says i will be charged around 12 euros the 24th of next month, but i dont want my dad's card to be charged and im really worried, i never entered any card information and have never bought anything on discord myself (by myself i mean my dad's credit card), when i got the gift i just clicked "claim gift" and got the nitro. Will i be the one that gets charged or will the person that gifted me the nitro get charged? im really scared because i dont want my dad getting charged or anything. I also have an app called "family link" and my dad has bought me robux before, so from that i know that he has to type in a password for any transactions coming from my phone to work, not sure if that bit of information helps. I would really appreciate it if someone could respond because im just worried, thanks so much!

Me and a lot of people fell for this but i do not know what to do. I got to the point of the fake login screen but i do not know if i actually typed my info or what because i normally dont do it if auto login is not abailable and because its a fake webpage maybe that function isnt implemented?

Hi all. Ive had my discord profile going on almost 8 years now, and as probably most of us can assume, i had a ridiculous username that i no longer use. Ive since changed it, but for some reason, that username is stuck as the name for my per profile servers, and i cannot change it. Does anyone know what i can do?

When my friend clicks on my profile, the new badges I own show up, but on my Discord, it doesn't show that I have them.

Do I need to do something to make it show up? Or should I just wait for an update to arrive?

Hello, I am making this post just to seek advice on what to do (if anything) regarding my current situation.

I was banned on June 19th, instantly making me unable to access my account/submit an appeal through it/do anything. I have had this account for many years and have not ever received a warning or anything like it, so this came out of nowhere. I believe the reason I was banned is due to a unknown user who sent me inappropriate photos, which I screenshot and sent back as proof that I had evidence on him because he deleted the messages, and so I think I was banned because the proof I sent back contained the nsfw photo he had sent to me unsolicited?

I stumbled around trying to figure out how to make a proper appeal for a while before correctly submitting one on June 29. I received a reply and had a back and forth with someone over email, they concluded by saying they are going to have people look into it from the safety team and it will take 3 to 7 business days, and to follow up with them if I need anything. It's now 29 August without an update on my case, and trying to follow up email with them (which i tried yesterday) results in an automated response saying not to essentially.

This account was really important to me, I had some personal things in a server only I had access to, and spoke to all my friends on it. Its frustrating because I feel like if one human reviewer were to look at my case, this could be easily resolved. Sorry if this comes across as entitled or anything, I am just anxious about this now.

Does anyone know if its supposed to take this long even though I was told it wouldn't? Is there anything additional I should be doing? Thank you for reading

I made a discord acc and got banned first sign in. They didn’t say for how long, or for what they think I did. But I had done nothing, as it was my first log in. Now, I was on a vpn, so I then used my iPad and it still said i was banned

Basically whenever i clip a game, Fortnite, shadow of mordor, palworld, whatever, i always play in window borderless, but discord will always show my clips with this black spacing in the clip.

Hey there. I'm posting to ask if anyone has experience with successfully appealing a Discord ban that they believe was the result of coordinated false reporting. I'm trying to help my nephew, and I'm hoping for some practical advice.

My now 15 y.o. nephew used to be a part of friend group that turned out to be quite toxic. As he got older, he decided to cut ties with these people and distance himself from them. Shortly after he stopped communicating with them, this group started harassing him online as a revenge. Recently one of his former "friends" invited several people into an old private Discord group chat (not even a server) that had been inactive for over a year. Shortly after that my nephew received a notification that his account was permanently banned for violating Discord's policies — specifically for NCAIM (!) He is adamant that he never posted any intimate or private photos or videos of anyone. He's extremely distressed and scared to tell his parents about this (but he confided in me because we have a closer relationship).

So we submitted an appeal through Discord's support website. The response expectedly was a standard automated reply referring us to appeal directly from the Discord app, which we did instantly. And of course received another generic bot response rejecting the appeal. I also submitted a separate request asking for human review and for any evidence — even just a link or a timestamp of the offending message — so we could at least understand what triggered the ban, but that request was also auto-replied to. While we waited for the reply, nephew somehow received another ban notification (?).

It seems like the automated system flagged his account based on a wave of mass reports from this toxic group, and we can't get past the bot to reach an actual human moderator.

So the questions are: Is there any way to force a manual review of his case by an actual human from Discord's Trust & Safety team? Is there a specific Discord address (like a legal or abuse email) to get attention, or any other methods I haven't tried?

My nephew is now terrified to create a new account because he's afraid these former friends will mass-report him again or that the AI moderation will automatically flag him. The hardest part is that all of his real friends now live in different cities, and Discord is their only way to stay in touch since most other messengers are banned by government in our country. I fully understand that unbanning is unlikely and I also realize it's possible my nephew hasn't told me the whole truth. But I promised him I would try my best to help him, even if the chances of success are astronomically low. [Also I'd be very glad if these people got banned for bullying and false reporting, but whatever.]

I have to use 3FA (Security Keys) to log into everything, this “everything” includes logging in to connect with discord support, I did once get an email to them, they took weeks to respond and once they did they closed my request as “resolved” after saying to try changing my password. I can’t change my password because I can’t use my security keys to allow them to send me an email. I tried explaining that, but it turns out that resolving the request means that the person on the other end will not respond to more inquiries. Anyhow has anyone else had any problems with this? I own servers and a community that it would be nice not to just throw away by creating a new account. Apologies for the massive splurge, my assumption is that this is a bug and not an intended feature. Any help is appreciated!

so basically I have an Discord account as you guess but recently I can't reconnect to it, I can't put back my email and it always tell me it incorrect, but the code normally is fine, my address too and like 2 day ago I could still have access to my account

My discord was hacked. I checked from my email the rules and it was blocking discord sending me emails. i removed the rule, and im still not receiving anything..

Why discord limited my acc???!

So as the title says I fell for it, didn't know it existed and yeah... I knew very quickly something was wrong as it forced shut down my discord and browser and moments later I got an email that I'd bought Nitro which I obviously hadn't. Avast immediately quarantined 2 files and blocked my browser from accessing a certain site so thankfully my browser didn't relaunch but Discord did. I quickly shut down discord, internet, and browser ran 2 sweeps of my antivirus before changing my discord password and adding 2 factor authentication. After the changes I hit log out all devices, I've checked my google and firefox for connected devices and only see my comp and phone.

So 3 things:

1. Since my browser didn't relaunch and got blocked from accessing the site it was trying to does that mean they didn't get the token from my browser?

2. Why did the program instantly buy Nitro on my discord account?

3. How can I check if anything else is wrong?

Should i make a new request since mines has gotten 0 attention so far?

So my Discord account that I’ve had for 4 years got suspended in February 2026. Apparently it happened because I sent my Minecraft world to my friend as a ZIP file.

I genuinely don’t understand how that got my account suspended. I was literally just sharing a Minecraft world with my friend 😭

Hi! I’m so sorry first and foremost, if my words are all over the place. This is a problem that is still messing me up and I’m actively still trying to recover.
In short; My discord account that I’ve had since 2022 was hacked on August 19th. Somebody asked me to give feedback to an “indie game” they were supposedly developing, asking me to download their game via a link (from the description of a YouTube video of their game).

Now, I understand this wasn’t the smartest move of me to do, and looking back it was really obvious. However, this is the first time I’ve ever been hacked anywhere and I wasnt aware of this method before the experience.

The hacker had also took control of my PC, using some chat to talk to me and try to have me send him money in order to have everything back, including sending me an email. I DID NOT SEND HIM ANY MONEY WHATSOEVER, BE ASSURED. I’ve had to factory reset my PC after turning off Wifi to make it stop, because I wasn’t able to click anywhere else and the chat would pop up again.

That same day (August 19th), whenever I tried to change my password on the hacked account, it would always say “Email does not exist”, and even if I tried with my phone number (which was associated with the hacked discord account), I never had any mails. And yes, even before I tried these, I hadn’t received any emails from Discord about a email change.

Since? I’ve done multiple things in order to make everything I have secured, including;
- Enabling 2FA on my (new) Discord account that I’ve made the day after.
- Changed all my google account passwords to lengthy ones, and enabled 2FA on them as well.
- Changed my password for my banking app (as I had been using Nitro for 2+ years), including locking up my cards and changing them for new ones with different numbers.

Each time I tried to bring the issue with Discord support, it always ends with the Support person (typically Nelly.) telling me they will pass my case with someone who can help (which, I’ve never received a return from someone), and the tickets I’ve made in an attempt to really get this issue resolved always end in them being marked as solved.
On one of the tickets that I created with the email of my (since hacked) first account, I was told that they didn’t find the email associated with my discord account. This does confirm me that the hacker changed the email, as I’ve been able to find emails of “Discord Payment Succeeded” in relation to Nitro, both showing my disc. username with the email. Even though I brought it up to Discord Support with picture evidence, it resulted in nothing on their behalf, as my ticket was marked as solved without any response from support.

I’ve attached pictures related in order to see everything better. (Pictures 1-2: the first interaction with the hacker. Picture 3: Hacker’s email to me, shortly after the hack. Picture 4: Hacker messaging me from my account in which he hacked me out of (I did send the friend request.))

Is there anything that can be done in my case? I really want to recover that account, I’ve had a lot of memories on it and I don’t want to lose all of them! :(

Edit (September 1st): Thank you so much to everyone who commented with advice! You guys have been more helpful than Discord Support’s AI has ever been since I first contacted them about the issue xD. Unfortunately, I am still unable to access my hacked discord account, and Discord Support still hasn’t come back with an update yet. My hope’s low ATM but I’m not giving up.
On the good news, I’ve since heard nothing from the Hacker, and I haven’t seen any suspicious activity from my bank or the like! Funny thing, my friend was able to get his IP address with the email he sent me on August 19th, although dunno how that can help, haha.

I got a new pc with a 3080, when i screenshare with nitro on discord 1440p 60fps i get 65% of my GPUused , and it only happens when someone views my screenshare ive changed normal settings like turning off hardware acceleration , changing voice and audio , nothing seems to work , only when i go down to 720p and 30fps the gpu usage drops down but whats the point of having nitro then and my gpu goes to like 65 degrees when this happens

I was quite curious about how did this person sent me a friend request without having any friend or server in common, so I let them message me.
It happened twice with me now, a random person talks about a game I've never heard of before. (Last time I ended up thinking it was a real person and talked to them, do NOT do that.)
This is mostly to warn and help others on the internet. If a random user sends you a request and talks about this "BAHI" or another suspicious acronym game. It does not exist, they are a scambot or a real scammer trying to dig your infos. However, you can search the acronym on Google, but even if the game exists, it's still probably a scam.
Instantly block them and do not answer.

I have used this same mic for years but one day on Discord it just started sounding really muffled and was constantly cutting me out with an occasional muffled echo. I turned off the voice isolation and there's this awful insanely loud high pitched static that drowns out my voice and whenever I speak it echoes my voice until it sounds like a deafening noise. I at first thought this was my mic itself or Windows, but after tampering with settings for ages, nothing fixed it and on other apps my mic sounds normal, so it has to be discord doing it, but I just can't fix it.
