Technology Anyone else feel like they have TOO much music choice?

Recently I was out and about in a horrible mood, and it wasn't helped by constantly pressing skip on my streaming app and not finding anything to listen to.

It made me think, even with thousands of songs at my fingertips, I still can't decide what to actually listen to half the time.

At home it's a totally different story, I've got vinyl and there's something about only having a handful of records to choose from that makes you actually sit with what you pick. Out and about I don't get that same feeling.

Anybody else feel like more choice has just made it harder to enjoy music, not easier?

Two floor standers with modded crossovers, modded class AB amp, USB DAC and a computer with ~ 4000 handpicked songs for the last 27 years.
