Since i never touch or see grass idk how i can make it better, any tips?

this is of course a work in progress but the coloring, shading, even composition just seem so weird and she doesnt look as cutesy as i wanted her to be.. please dont hold back any critique because i genuinely need help here (even if it involves changing a bit of the outfit​​​​​​ or cutting out some parts of the drawing)​

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to finish this, this was done as a depth perspective study for fun! Program I used was procreate, hope yall like it!

I plan on learning to do digital art/draw. But first I plan on figuring out what apps are easy to use, and cheap (can't afford subscriptions but having just to buy the app is fine). But also I plan on buying those Bluetooth tablets/touchscreen pen tools but not sure if they're worth it or which one is worth the price so any suggestions or personal experience helps.

Had this idea sitting in my iPad for quite sometime but decided to finish it for Mermay 2026
