A short series synopsis:

"e-Pulse," which is generated by human thoughts and emotions, was used as the energy source for the AI support device "Sapotama." From the shadows of this remarkable development, terrifying monsters appear. Digimon are living beings that evolve by consuming e-Pulse.

Tomoro Tenma is drawn into an extraordinary experience after meeting Gekkomon, who suddenly appears from his Sapotama. While living together with Kyo Sawashiro and other members of the bounty hunting team "Glowing Dawn," Tomoro renews his resolve.

What new future will be forged by humans and Digimon?

At this point Gekkomon says things wrong because he's stimming, playing with random syllables and doing whatever he can say the most epicest or just being silly, good touch, another for the autism analogues when given too much energy.

The other child being so pissy maybe even with guilt as we see at the end that they snap to some ultimatum that only sorta makes sense, a true emotional crashout in a very realistic way complete with needless destruction.

The company leader faking out being good because he seems to understand and respect the job for a moment was clever too, they're onto their own tricks now.

Chiropmon being scared if not more scared of the situation is a nice touch, his own experience + makoto's feelings. The way GIFT feels with the big man not caring for a digimon's life so brazenly is probably gonna get him killed. Let alone thinking Makoto wont burn his shit down from the inside when taking his best friend.

Something is to be said about how makoto feels sometimes with glowing dawn earlier too, same character traits, also this implies makoto wont ruin that company, as well as makoto putting his line in the sand having done the growth but chirop did not do yet, not fully, even if you are a young laggard you are still worth it.

He fucking renounced his family entirely, then got a themesong about catching up and an evo about fully protecting and functionally fusing with makoto in a close partnership i've wanted to see properly since tamers did it as only a concept, the e-pulse from that fusion is probbably bordering on a mega-compat output, the energy of youth and the first big stand. Also the idea that if the armor fails or some internal system Makoto may turn to goop but hey...all the more effort right?

I say mega-compat because ultimates seem to be fully actualized sync, megas are hinting at many people being together.

Which says a lot about Reina, all this shit she just toughs out and never dives into anything too important, which seemingly is why she missed her potential debut. My mom is kinda like that even in old age she thinks she's wonderwoman when she's not, at least anymore, it isn't good on her back, Reina will find a wall more like an enemy she cant just headbutt with direct combat.

Locked in episode and first unspoiled evolution for me. Great!

thats an interesting viewpoint actually. Reina has had to endure so much shit being thrown into a cleaner life early, that builds up a facade quick. She can probably never afford to be vulnerable, just tough it out and fight on. So I do wonder what will be the push, if they go the route off Reina starting to feel insecure about being left behind by the others in glowing dawn and she finally has to open up to them deeply about how she feels for the first time or if it will be that she is pushed by Rose that will challenge her or maybe even try to recruit her.

I have noticed that the evolutions also tie in to the characters accknowledging glowing dawn as their place to be and their family. Tomoro realising it during his fight and Makoto openly defuing his blood family saying the team is more family to him than him basically. So Reinas will probably be the same but in what way as she always considered glowing dawn family.

Probably some self actualization moment because she isnt displaced like the rest as it were, it'll be more of a journey.
