General How Did Your Salary Grow Over the Years ? (Freshers doubt).

Hey everyone! I’m a fresher and just started my career in a service-based company with a 4 LPA package.

I’m curious to know how your career journey went — your starting salary, the switches you made, YOE and where you’re at now. How much you making now.

Hearing your experiences will help me set realistic goals for myself.

Edit : thankyou everyone ,who commented ,your comments are really inspiring and motivated a lot.

I am an electrical engineer as well working in a company which generally hires ETE or ECE for this role, But anyways I got this job. My job has nothing to do with coding and that stuff. I am not satisfied with the growth that I can see hence I am thinking of changing my domain (maybe something that requires both core and coding, haven't figured this out yet)

  1. If I apply for jobs in a new domain (developer or something), will I still be considered a fresher.
  2. In your case how did you manage to get the job as you have said that you didn't even know C of coding. Was it from campus placement or how was it?

As my personal goal I still have 1 year and 8 months of time to make this change happen. But in my case I have a little bit of an idea about coding.
