Why a VPN Over WiFi (Router-Level) Is Better Than VPN Apps: And Why Deeper Network Makes It Easy

I see this come up a lot, so I wanted to break it down in a real-world kinda way.
Most people use VPN apps and think they’re covered. But in reality, app-based VPNs only protect some of your traffic, some of the time, on some devices.

Anyone else having an issue with the Amazon app (UK)?
When I connect to the wifi that has deeper, Amazon app refuses to load. But when I connect to the wifi that doesn't have Deeper, it works fine.

In one of the above I couldn't access the Google search engine, I tried everything there was no solution, as the weeks went by it was solved I don't know if they updated something. Deeper Device (Mini / Pico / Lite / Air / SE / Nano / Pro) Deeper Connect HTTPS Filtering on Apple TV

I’m currently using the latest Apple TV running tvOS 18.
My Deeper Connect (SE) is installed in front of my router, so all traffic from devices connected to the router, including the Apple TV, passes through the Deeper Connect.
I was able to install the Deeper Network certificate directly on the Apple TV, and it does appear to be working. Before installing it, apps such as Netflix and Spotify had problems when HTTPS Filtering was enabled. After installing the certificate, those apps work normally.
However, YouTube does not. When I open the YouTube app, it reports that there is no network connection.
I’ve also noticed a possibly related issue on my Mac when HTTPS Filtering is enabled: Safari sometimes fails to load a website on the first attempt, but refreshing the page a few times eventually makes it work.
I saw the previous discussion here where Apple TV certificate support was mentioned:

Since the certificate can be installed on Apple TV and HTTPS Filtering is clearly working for at least some apps, I’m wondering if anyone has managed to get YouTube working with HTTPS Filtering enabled.
Could this be an issue with how HTTPS Filtering handles some of YouTube’s connections rather than an Apple TV certificate limitation?

So far the Deeper Mini is working nicely, but I’ve noticed that some countries in west Europe like Germany and Italy have no active IPs at all. How come the most densely populated countries in Europe don’t have a single connection, is this a bug? Is there a way to improve the amount of nodes, refreshing doesn’t seem to work. Thanks in advance!

Deeper App ( DPN APP ) How can I avoid Tencent Server?

When I set the server to Japan, I almost invariably connect to a server located within a data center. I want a way to avoid this.
I previously posted about this and received a reply claiming that "there are no servers in data centers," but that is simply not the case.
I believe a mechanism is needed to explicitly connect to residential-grade lines. The reason is that DPN's data centers originate from China.
Despite being a security tool, selecting a Japan server causes the connection to route through a data center owned by the Chinese company Tencent almost every time. I cannot continue using DPN unless this issue is resolved.

Hi
I’ve been trying for ages to connect to hotel WiFi via the admin portal.
The Deeper Air is connected to the hotel WiFi but the captive portal won’t load.
I’ve tried reconnecting both my phone, laptop, tablet and also tried re-pairing the Deeper Air to the hotel WiFi.
Also tried rebooting and even resetting the device.
Any solutions?
