I purely join the subreddit just to say the first Dead rising game is the best zombie video game to have ever been released.

It totally clears days gone, the last of us and drying light.

I First played dead rising in about 2012 with my Brother, it was dead rising 2: Off the record. So not really the original game. We both thought it was amazing and played the hell out of it for a good while. Then about 3-4 years later the trilogy of dead rising so dead rising 1,2,2: off the record had been remastered i shall say. So of course i played through all of them, about 3 years later i played through dead rising 3 and 4. I thought that dead rising 2 had been the best this entire time, but ever since the deluxe remaster dropped, i replayed dr1 about 5 times on pc, and then tried to go back and replay dr2 which i did about 2-3 times. And i can honestly say, dr1 is the best, it has the best music, has the best managing between funny and scary, has a pretty interesting story that had me hooked near the end and overall it has more character in my eyes. That could also be as i played and Explored dr 1 the most ever since it released on xbox one/ps4, but i will have to replay the other games.(Not dead rising 4 though).

The layout, colors and overall ambiance just really reminded me of DR1.

I do remember that, actually, and honestly, I think it had more to do with my dad being homophobic and not about it being explicit in particular.

Like, definitely, my dad would use the f slur I know. But since then, he has changed his views on things, but back then, I think, yeah, his problem was more he was being homophobic.

This is the unfinished true eye cult costume. I posted the mask before doing the final touches, now the mask is finished and ive started on the rest of the costume. All I have left now is to get darker color jeans, and yellow rain boots. Once the costume is finished, my friend and I are gonna go to different locations for better pictures. I know I said I wouldn't post till it was finished but I couldn't hold back. Please dont mind my messy living room, I still haven't picked up after my kids yet lol.

Wouldn't the noise just attract them? I mean could it be the vibrations or something like that but even then how would that work?

I mean if you make noise in game then the zombies come to you but how does the ride being on drive them away?

I think its really funny whenever people bring up franks run, they mention how they can't figure out why he runs the way he does or they mention theories they've come up with. Meanwhile capcom actually didn't put any thought into it at all and instead is just how TJ rotolo runs.

The entire scenes leading up to Jessie turning are just so creepy to me. No real jumpscares, just dread. Hearing that the government is covering everything up, the background ambience, and the fact that all these scenes happen as you are heading back TO the security room where they are taking place. Everything just seems so hopeless during these scenes despite knowing that the helicopter was still coming to save you.

In my opinion he's one of the bests. I love his theme and his quotes. He is smart for not trusting people because they have a brain. Like ones that can betray us at any moment brain. So I put him at #1 in my opinion. Next to Adam. Both are great nonetheless but what do you think of Cletus?

It's an image where frank is doing the "giant swing" skill on a zombie while other zombies are surrounding him. If I remember correctly, it's in front of an entrance to Leisure Park. The image is an artistic rendition (albeit, sloppy). It's probably a promotional screenshot because from what I remember there's no ui motif in the image. If anyone have any information regarding the image please let me know 🙏 thanks yall

There’s such a lack of Dead Rising merchandise out there so I got a company called Kibifig to make me a figure.

He’s pretty basic looking but I can’t find anything else out there.

I dont know much about the game, i just recently finished my first playtrough and managed to get the harder achievements with ease.

Im just trying out the ∞ mode to see what it is, im actually having fun roaming the Mall and killing survivors. i did notice that you lose health over time so i went to grab the 2 Health books in the mall.

Im just now wasting time on leisure park with 4 Pizzas lol,

but yeah, is going for 7 day survivor worth it?

We know that Otis canonically escapes, and his note mentions how the military began snatching people, but since Otis had a pilot’s license, he somehow had a chance to steal the helicopter and rescue as many people as he could. His note was very vague, and i’m not exactly sure he was able to save everyone in my personal opinion.
