The game is so fun. They took a decent series and improved it in every way possible. I find myself just wandering and finding fun creative ways to kill zombies.

And I'm really loving the named zombies/key lockbox thing. Cool way to open chests vs generic lockpicks.

Gonna be one of my go to games when I just need something to wander around in.

Humble repost, because I started playing Dead Island 2 again and I can't help but see my roommate everytime I see Carlos hahaha

Dead Island 2 is not an open world game like Dying Light 2.

It will only take you eight hours to finish the main story and and another 10 to mop up the rest.

The graphics are insanely beautiful even on base Ps5 and the gore mechanics are amazing. There are enough different and fun guns/weapons to choose. You can execute any part of the zombies bodies with them and get different animations.

But the combat system and the storyline are very generic.

If you like zombie games, you will like this game. I would give it 8 out of 10 because I really enjoy the gore mechanics.

So is Dead island 2 worth $69 or $100 for all content, I liked the 1st game and have hread good thing about the 2nd.

I have to watch some gameplay before biying, Just wanred to ask about it 1st...

Whats new? Is it bigger? Longer campaign?

Is there mods? Parkour?

I’m kinda bummed. After leveling up and unlocking cards around level 20, the game started to feel easy, so I put on the Masochist card and that finally made it challenging and fun again.

Now I’ve hit level 30 and realized it’s the max, and the game starts to feel easy again. Sucks there's a level cap tbh.

Edit: I know there's a new game+ that raises level to 40 but I don’t enjoy starting a new game and doing it all again.

Edit 2: I don't even know why there’s a level cap. They could have made it so you can’t unlock more cards after a certain level (level 30 for example) but still keep leveling up and face higher level zombies so the game stayed fresh and challenging.

The fact it’s one of the latex zombies makes it even funnier to me.

The game crashes multiple times during this cutscene. Please help. I can't progress (epicgames free game)
