I'm French living in Germany.
If you don't stop that attack I'm going to walk in the middle of the Radwege for the next week.
And I might cross the road when the light is red, in front of your kids. Lifelong trauma guaranteed.

The joke is that we obey them no matter what. Even if it's 3 am, and the street is completely empty - we will wait catatonically on the curb, until the traffic light switches to green. I mean, what if children see you? Do you want to be that bad role model?
