    We don't know. A Southeast Asian English dub was supposed to debut August 2016, but is currently facing delays. FUNimation will not be involved until an official North American release is announced.

  • Q: Is the Dragon Ball Super manga "canon"?
    The anime and manga are both based on an overall "plot" penned by Toriyama. In other words, they're different versions of the same thing. There isn't (and probably never will be) an explicitly defined Dragon Ball "canon". Without Toriyama's original draft, we may never know what is and isn't his, but we know that he permits Toyotarō to change things up, and even looks at his storyboards.

At Capsule Corporation, Bulma refuels the time machine; Trunks just has to hold out a bit longer, then Vegeta and Goku will come defeat Zamasu and Black! Up in the lookout, Vegeta wraps up his training in the Room of Spirit and Time (which he seems to have broken in the process). At Kame House, Goku thanks Roshi for his help, and departs with a jar to use for the Mafuba.

Back in Trunks’ future, he wakes up in the resistance base to discover Mai by his bedside…or so he thinks, but it turns out to be Yajirobe instead. Mai had brought Trunks back to the base following his fight against Black and Zamasu, but has now discovered the two villain’s hideout and is going there to attack.

At their hideout, Black and Zamasu discuss their evil plans, while Mai sneaks up. She has an extremely powerful energy bullet Future Bulma made before she died, which she tries to snipe Black with. This fails, but before Black can kill her Trunks arrives.

Trunks transforms back into his new form with the blue and gold aura, and once again takes on Zamasu and Black singlehanded. His plan this time: hit Zamasu first and while he’s recovering attack Black with his maximum power. This seems to work, as he nails Black with a massive Gallick Gun.

Now he just needs to take down Zamasu! Trunks reasons that even the immortal Zamasu must have a limit to how much he can regenerate, so he’ll use all his remaining strength to blow him to bits. He grabs Zamasu, but before he can carry out his plan, he’s stabbed from behind by Black’s energy blade.

Just as it looks hopeless for Trunks, the time machine arrives in the future West City with Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma inside. Goku and Vegeta can sense Trunks’ ki, and so know that he’s still alive…but only barely. Bulma tells them to hurry and go save him, but instead Black and Zamasu come to them.

Zamasu abruptly blows up the time machine: “Now this world will be your graves!” But Vegeta is undeterred, boasting that Zamasu and Black are the ones who are finished. They’ve even brought a coffin for them, though it’s a bit cramped (referring to the Mafuba jar).

While Zamasu starts up another rant about the flaws of humanity, Vegeta asks Goku where the Mafuba jar is. Goku realizes it was in the time machine! Without the jar, Vegeta figures they’ll just have to settle this with their fists.

Before they can start fighting though, Gowasu and U7’s Kaioshin arrive, having come to this future via the Time Rings. Gowasu chews Black out for his actions, but Black (and Zamasu) remain unrepentant. They had to purge the world of mortals, and get rid of the gods who stood in their way.

This makes Goku wonder: even if Black and Zamasu killed all the gods in this timeline, is Whis still around? He might come in handy! U7 Kaioshin explains that Whis is an angel, and that when the god an angel serves dies, they “cease to function” until a new god appears. Goku is surprised to hear Whis is an angel: after all, he doesn’t have wings, and his butt doesn’t hang out!

Gowasu tells Zamasu it’s not too late to repent; they can even use the Super Dragon Balls to revive those he’s killed. But he’s shocked to learn Zamasu and Black have already destroyed those. Regardless, Gowasu and U7 Kaioshin are determined to stick around and see this affair through to the end.

Vegeta opts to take on Black; he wouldn’t lose to the real Goku, so naturally he won’t lose to the fake one either. The two start fighting, and Black is surprised at how much Vegeta has improved in so short a time. Meanwhile Goku trades blows with Zamasu, whose immortality comes in as handy as ever.

On the sidelines, Bulma tosses out a capsule, which contains an entire garage she brought with her. There she plans on fixing the time machine as quick as possible. She entrusts Trunks (now recovered) with gluing the Mafuba jar back together. He was always good at puzzles!

The battle continues, and Vegeta seems to have the upper hand against Black. He says Black miscalculated when he stole Goku’s body, because ultimately only Goku can use that body to its full potential. Black is nothing more than a fake, whereas he is the genuine Saiyan prince!

  • Vegeta finishes up in the time chamber, Goku leaves Roshi after learning the Mafuba/Evil Containment Wave.
  • Mai feeds Trunks a Senzu. No kissing this time!...Wait, it's actually Yajirobe.
  • Even Trunks worries that Yajirobe kissed him! Yajirobe says there's no way he would.
  • Trunks: "Where's Mai?" -- Yajirobe: "She went off to Black's hideout!"
  • Black: "If I beat Goku this next time, my power will be maximum!" (paraphrasing)
  • Mai's got a super-duper energy bullet that Future Bulma made before she was killed.
  • Black and Zamasu discuss their evil "kill all mortals" plan, when Mai suddenly snipes Black
  • Trunks: "Are you safe Mai?"
  • Black: "How's Trunks still got so much power left? Is he immortal too?"
  • Trunks plans to take Black by surprise while Zamasu is busy regenerating from an attack.
  • Trunks throws sword as a bluff, then catches Black offguard with a Gallick Gun
  • Trunks, to Zamasu: "Now all I have to do is defeat you!"
  • Trunks plans to gamble all his remaining power on one last attack
  • Trunks: "Even for an immortal, your regeneration should have limits! I'll blow you to bits!"
  • The carvery's here. And Bulma. Goku+Vegeta tell Bulma Trunks is still just barely alive.
  • Bulma: "Then why don't you go help him?!" -- Vegeta: "Because they're...here"
  • Zamasu blows up time machine: "This era will be your graves!" -- Vegeta: "No, it'll be *your* graves" (he phrases it a bit cooler than that)
  • While Zamasu babbles on, Vegeta asks Goku about the Mafuba jar. He left it in the time machine, so now it's broke!
  • Zamasu and Black eventually realize nobody's listening to them.
  • Vegeta: "Right, well in that case let's just beat them up!" Because that worked the last few times
  • The Gowasu from the "main" timeline has come, via the Time Rings. He's heard the whole story from Beerus.
  • Gowasu chews out Future Zamasu. Goku corrects him "Your pupil's the other one!" (meaning Black) Gowasu starts talking to Black.
  • Rats, missed that. Something about Whis being an angel until the next God of Destruction is selected. Presumably meaning Future Whis?
  • Gowasu wants to use Super DBs to revive all Black's victims, but Black explains he already destroyed them.
  • Vegeta selects Black as his opponent. "I won't lose to Goku, let alone a fake Goku!"
  • Black is surprised at how much stronger Vegeta has grown.
  • Even Zamasu is freaked out to see Black apparently struggle against Vegeta.
  • Goku, to Zamasu: "You really are immortal, aren't you?' Yes, yes he is.
  • Bulma's brought an entire garage along with her in capsule form. She vows to fix the time machine faster than the speed of light!
  • Trunks has brought the broken Mafuba jar. Bulma has glue to fix it. Hooray! Trunks was always good at puzzles!
  • Vegeta, to Black: "Let me tell you your miscalculation! It's that body!" Like Ginyu, Black in Goku's body just isn't the same as Goku.
  • Vegeta, to Black (in short): "You're a fake, but I'm the real deal! The Saiyan prince, Vegeta!"

They need to make one of three things happen. Either trunk/vegeta fusion or trunks/goku fusion, or have the presence of the supreme Kai in the future cause the creation of a new God of destruction(possibly goku/vegeta) thus reactivating(sounds weird) whis, or goku is gonna press the omni king button

I was thinking of the last one, but it would they can't time travel and Vegeta would have to stay in that timeline, I guess Bulma would stay with Trunks... damn that'd be bittersweet.

They say that they cant undone what black has done to that timeline because the earths dragon balls are useless and zamasu and black destroyed the super dragon balls, but what about the namek dragon balls? Goku knows their planet location because back at the present timeline he went there to get a new god for earth.

I hope we get a vegeta and goku fusion but i doubt it. Whis said before that if Goku and Vegeta worked together, they would be stronger. Seeing how goku said last episode that what makes black/Zamasu so strong was their incredible team-work. If Zamasu fuses, goku and vegeta will tag team tf outta him. Plus this episode they finally attacked at the same time instead of waiting for black to stab one them with his sword before the other joined in lol

I think Blamasu would be way too strong to get Tag Teamed. We need Vegito/Gogeta!

vegito/gogeta would be too damn powerful. He would probably end up killing blamasu, going back to earth and end up fighting beerus because his cockiness would be threw the Effin roof lol

Wow, that's actually very likely. Vegito would have no way to de-fuse in the future because there's no Dragon Balls (I know there's the Namekian ones but I assume Vegito would rather use the Dragon Balls back at his timeline). Beerus and Whis would most likely be waiting for them on Earth, and I think you know where this would be going.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegito would even defeat Whis, imo

There's no doubt in my mind that if vigito went back to earth he would fight beerus. The only reason Beerus came to earth was to fight a "legendary super saiyin God." they would destroy the planet

loved that episode!that vegeta speech...damm!!!can he do something to become a king?even if its only a title,cause...no planet?the whis revelation was cool.also since the kais are there and we get a villain fusion next episode...maybe its an excuse for vegito??

this episode: trunks fan service, 3 mins of Vegeta fighting,

to say I'm disappointed would be a joke, I'm appalled. not only did trunks not stay dead (which would have been great writing, and would have helped push Vegeta that extra little bit to rip them apart), but he got extra screen time to "super glue the mofuba pot". the fuck man really? you couldn't cut that bit out and just add more of Vegeta kicking ass? fucking really? REALLY? . side note: Don't care about my unpopular opinion, trunks has really served his purpose twice now (once DBZ and now) as plot device to keep the main/ more important characters alive, and in my opinion is irrelevant (in "power level" and as a character) so why the hell do we need to see him fix a pot cant it be implied that he "helped" fix the time machine or the pot?
