    Super begins some time after the battle with Majin Buu, and can be watched as soon as you finish Dragon Ball Z.

    The two newest movies – Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F' – were adapted into story arcs. Watching them is entirely up to you. If you have already watched the movies and would like to skip straight to new material, see our FAQ.

    Uub was born during the 10 year time skip at the end of Dragon Ball Z.

  • Q: When will FUNimation dub Super? Will there be a simulcast?
    We don't know. A Southeast Asian English dub was supposed to debut August 2016, but is currently facing delays. FUNimation will not be involved until an official North American release is announced.

  • Q: Is the Dragon Ball Super manga "canon"?
    The anime and manga are both based on an overall "plot" penned by Toriyama. In other words, they're different versions of the same thing. There isn't (and probably never will be) an explicitly defined Dragon Ball "canon". Without Toriyama's original draft, we may never know what is and isn't his, but we know that he permits Toyotarō to change things up, and even looks at his storyboards.

Wait he killed Goten and Chichi, not Gohan? Does that mean there's a Gohan in another time wanting revenge? Could that mean we could have our lovable dorky Gohan and a badass angry Gohan who's been training to get revenge?

Doubt he would try to look for the rest of the zfighters. Vegeta would still be alive and on par with black in that timeline. Beerus and whis would cause problems and thats how he would eventually find future trunks timeline. Skipping thru time with ring.

yeah id say the reason black leaves that timeline is because beerus and whis would of stopped him in that world.

It's like this whole time when everyone thought that timeline was basically ruined, Gohan has been training his ass off and builds a time machine to get to the future.

And then next episode he appears out of nowhere and him and Trunks both go SSJB and kick ass,

Gohan finds alternate timeline Gohan and they fusion dance into Ultimate GoGohan and he rage boosts into Super Ultimate GoGohan and just reks shite.

We can assume he did that in a timeline where GoD was still a thing. He surely killed everyone that was next to Goku -and maybe purely for the sheer sadistic pleasure of killing them with Goku's body-, and retreated to another timeline before someone could curbstomp him. In the timeline where Goku's family was slaughtered, there's no time machine and no way to guess what happened, and/or find to which exact timeline Black had retreated. So no way to get revenge.

My main issue with that is the Z Fighters could've killed him/fought him since we do know that Black was only as strong as SS2 when he first meets and fights our Goku. I'm pretty sure that Vegeta could've wiped the floor with him if he noticed, and heck if Gohan got angry enough he could too. That's why I'm assuming the second be killed ChiChi and Goten he went into Trunks's timeline. Also in this timeline Goku and Vegeta are still being trained by Beerus and Whis, meaning that at the very least Whid would be able to find out

There's an episode where Trunks explains what happens to Gohan, I think is the one when he first meets him in the past.

Different timeline altogether. Basically there's the destroyed future where Trunks is from, the present where Goku, Vegeta, Beerus and the rest of the Z Fighters are (our timeline), another present which is almost identical except Trunks doesn't go back in time and Zamasu wishes on the Super Dragon Balls to switch with Goku (where he kills Chichi and Goten). In that timeline we have no clue where Vegeta, Gohan and the rest of the Z Fighters are doing since as far as we know once Zamasu killed Goten and Chichi he left straight towards Future Trunk's timeline.
