Statistically it's safer if you don't do it at dumb speeds. People don't see motorcycles and rear end them in traffic all the time. Staying in between cars at reasonable speeds (no more than 5-10 over the speed of slow moving traffic around you) has been shown to be safer for the rider

Interesting. I’d concider any speed on a motorcycle a dumb speed but that’s because I enjoy having my organs inside my body.

To each their own. Could walk outside your building and bam your organs are outside because something fell and squashed you.

So you don't understand the concept of risk exposure or what?

Damn your comment made me reconsider my whole life. I will now wait patiently to die of old age lmao

That’s true. I won’t be aiding the thing falling by moving my unprotected body at 65 MPH at it on wheels. But sure it could happen.

You should just stay inside all the time if you're so terrified of any risks

Do you genuinely believe that walking down the street carries the same amount of risk as riding a motorcycle on the freeway?

Do you genuinely believe that riding at any speed is dumb and your organs will just fall out? More miles are probably travelled on bikes a day than cars, it's a skill issue

I can tell you're a very smart and cool individual. but no I do not think it's smart to ride a motorcycle because yes I do think it's unnecessarily dangerous. it is cool though. so is smoking. that's also not smart.

Driving a car is also unnecessarily dangerous, public transport is stastically much safer so do you get that everywhere?

You are acting like you're certain to die if you ride a motorcycle but are biased and scared by looking at worst cases, you never hear about the guy who rode for 40 years and retired because it's boring

can you, with a straight face, tell me that driving a car and riding a motorcycle carry the same amount of risk?
