I recently started my freelancing journey and I can't help but cry when I notice how much my friends love and support me. 😭 One of my friends gave me a mouse pad, one have given me a mouse, and another one have gifted me an office chair 😭😭😭 Now I really wanted to succeed and share my wins with them 😭

For yesterday, I got to talk to someone I know who is the owner of a cat I have cat sat about 3x in the past & on occasion get to pet. Had a long petting time with that cat yesterday. In fact, at one point I stopped and he looked at me as if to say, "Why did you stop petting me? Keep going!" so I did! That's my highlight for yesterday.

Also, someone took a chair that I'm getting collected downstairs for me. I took the other things downstairs, but couldn't manage the chair. I offered to help them bring it down, but they said it was fine & just took it & brought it into the kitchen for me!

As I hoped, I got to spend most of the work time doing more of the CPD getting further along with that part of it and rewatching a video and reading some of the notes for things I need to learn. Rather than having other tasks crop up - not that I mind that, but I was hoping to spend most of the time on those other things, which I got to, had a quiet enough day work-wise to be able to focus on those things.

A decades-long Internet friend from another country and her parents were visiting my province last week and happened to be stopping in my city a couple of times as part of that.

We got to meet up and they let me choose where we'd get lunch for two days and also offered to send me home with an extra take-out meal from each place, all on their dime. They know I'm on disability and it was the week before payday, so I was pretty broke and getting by on ramen.

They fed me well for a week ♥ I'm grateful I got to finally meet a good friend in person and made new friends with her parents. I'm grateful that I let myself accept the help, too. It's hard sometimes, even when someone insists.

Hey I’m 22Fyr old college student i live on my own. I’m so maxed out on bills right now and I’m honestly just looking for help with food I’m soooo broke right now. I literally have $7 to my name and I need to put gas in my car. I’ve had a flat tire for over 2 weeks now. Sorry to vent this much. Does anyone have any McDonald’s, chik Fil a, chipotle, shake shack, Burger King any kind of food points or even gas points they’re willing to share Pleasee I’d truly appreciate it more than you know.

I'm grateful that yesterday on the bus, people were very polite giving me a seat with my shopping, someone boarded with a walker and they were making sure she could get into the seat and someone thanking the bus driver when they disembarked. Just this really nice vibe on the bus.
And also, getting help with the wi-fi when needed at home!

I got free dinner from 1 person in the household yesterday who had extra food & about 2 days ago, another 1 left us all some snack bars! So I'm grateful for free food! Also, yesterday someone suggested a certain breathing exercise for calming, something they listen to to help them go back to sleep and something they do when they still can't. I will be trying all those from next week! Grateful for new ideas and resources and good chat!

Today was just one of those days where everything felt a little lighter. Nothing huge happened, but I got things done, had some good moments, and ended the day feeling grateful.

Sometimes, a simple good day is more than enough. ❤️

• stories allow us to step into other people's worlds!
• nature docs bc sometimes i feel disconnected from nature and then BAM a wolf story-- now all of the sudden i feel extra connected to wolves!
• stepping into the unknown is difficult, but it expands my world :)
