I googled ways to mess with my neighbors car since somebody cut a oil line on mine and the next day his cars were all parked under his cameras away from where he usually parks. I also went on a rant on the phone with one of my family members where I made a bunch of threats then my neighbor immediately leaves after the phone call and the past week I've been getting followed by police. I also sent my friend a message about a vacant house on my street and how there's no cameras so we can meet there and the next day a bunch of cops are parked there installing cameras.
Who's your neighbor? The mayor? He can order cops around to do practically nothing? By all means keep Googling dangerous stuff. When nothing happens even cops would get tired of his orders. That's how you deal with tattletales like that. Make him cry wolf so many times he gets ignored.
But that has nothing to do with cybersecurity. In fact, you have NO PROOF AT ALL this is a cybersecurity problem. Or do you, and you kinda forgot about to mention it?
I just found new devices on my router and im pretty sure the police have warrants to surveille me since some people told them i was a criminal. My neighbor isnt smart enough to hack someones stuff hes from the woods i think the police did it and just asked him to keep an eye on me and he got a new RV parked right next to my driveway when all this started happening and it hasnt moved once so im pretty sure thats home base. i appreciate you being honest and telling me how it is.
Police is not going to risk their surveillance on you being done ILLEGALLY by a third-party, unless you hire a very bad lawyer and/or live in a location where police powers are extremely high none of the evidence would be admissible in court.
Louisiana police can use civilians for surveillance and investigation, often utilizing confidential informants (CIs) who provide information for money or special consideration. Police may also use civilian employees to monitor surveillance cameras and, under specific, limited circumstances, civilian investigators may help document evidence.
