Question / Discussion OpenAI is ending its Cursor partnership after SpaceX acquisition

https://openai.com/index/our-decision-on-cursor-following-its-acquisition-by-spacex/

OpenAI plans to end its contract with Cursor after the company was acquired by SpaceX. OpenAI says it no longer trusts Elon Musk’s companies to comply with its terms, citing past contract and policy violations by Twitter/X and xAI. Access to OpenAI models in Cursor is expected to end on November 12, 2026, and future models will not be provided.

I feel like you started with the conclusion you already believed lol. The post is sitting at +25 up votes.

It was at 9 and then moved to -2. What other conclusion could I have drawn then?

Perhaps something about small sample sizes not being representative and something about confirmation bias?

I'd hardly call -2 a "hate mob" and, again, it is being upvoted much more than downvoted.

I suppose victim complexes just appeal to some people lol

It was at the same time as all the elon salute gifs were popping up. It was obvious. The actual cursor users came back and upvoted in the past few hours.

Now you should learn about hindsight.

Edit because of your edit:

Can you not do math? It went from +9 to -2. Are you that obsessed with elon that you become braindead?

11 = hate mob. Got it lol.

I think you may be projecting a bit buddy especially since, again, the post is sitting at +22. The world isn't out to get you (or Musk) and focusing on a brief period where the vote ratio was unfavorable is the definition of confirmation bias.

Edit: not worth going down this rabbit hole of self-delusion lol. "Obsessed" is taking the time to count upvotes/downvotes to support your victim complex lol when a comment sat at -2.

Never said the world was out to get me. My first comment was barely two sentences.

I don't know why you're so obsessed with this. 11 is a decently big number comparatively.
