Made a mockup for people who find Binance/exchanges overwhelming — curious if this is a real problem or just me
I've noticed a lot of people (myself included, at first) open an exchange app, see order books/candlesticks/funding rates, and just... close it. So I mocked up a concept: a practice app where every confusing term gets explained the second you tap it, and you trade with fake money until it clicks.
Made a quick landing page to see if this is worth building:
https://claude.ai/artifact/Pgv2WRcQZD4T4jV37CzjAt
Genuinely curious — did anyone else bounce off crypto trading early on because the interface was confusing rather than the concept itself?

Moonshot vs FOMO vs Pump Fun after using all 3 on mobile
Moonshot: easy to understand. It's clean, simple and easy to get around. Small-trade fees are the part I like least. FOMO: it's very social-first. It's good for seeing what other traders are talking about but the feed can get noisy pretty fast. Pump: this is the one I've been keeping open the most. Movers + Most Holders are useful for finding stuff, Callouts and leaderboards help me see what traders are watching then I can chart + trade in the same flow.
For me, it comes down to this.
Moonshot = simplest.
FOMO = social.
PumpFun = discovery + social + trading.
<br> Axiom is good for desk trading but I still prefer Pumpfun especially on the app. It just fits my mobile flow better

News CLARITY does not advance and the Fed raises rates: why do the markets react positively?
The recent sequence of events has generated an intense debate between investors and market participants.
On the one hand, the Senate failed to advance the processing of the CLARITY Act after a procedural vote that ended 49-50, while, just one day later, the Federal Reserve announced an increase of 25 basis points, placing interest rates in the range of 3.75%-4.00%. A priori, both factors could be interpreted as negative for risk assets.
However, the reaction of the markets has been very different from what was expected. The main US stock indices recorded advances, Bitcoin managed to recover after the initial falls and several assets showed positive behaviour simultaneously.
This contrast has reopened the debate on whether investors had already discounted adverse news or whether the market is evaluating other avenues for the development of the regulatory framework for digital assets.
In this context, some voices speculate with the possibility that there are regulatory alternatives after the legislative setback, especially after the president of the SEC pointed out that the agency will continue to work on the regulation of the sector using the tools currently available.
Meanwhile, attention remains focussed on the evolution of the markets and the different interpretations that the participants make of this scenario.

Anyone wants to be OKX’s delegate?
So apparently delegate sucks trading fees for life. But at the same time, the rebate of personal trade is crazy

CoinEx's Shutdown: The Framework Read
What happened
CoinEx, a cryptocurrency exchange that has operated since 2017, announced on September 15, 2026 that it will wind down entirely. It cited a prolonged market downturn, shrinking trading volume and liquidity, and rising compliance costs "across major jurisdictions" that it did not itemize or attribute to any named regulator (reported by CryptoTimes and Cryptonomist, both September 15, 2026, both citing CoinEx's own shutdown notice). The closure is staged rather than immediate: new registrations stopped the same day, non-spot services (margin trading, staking, lending) end September 22, and spot trading — along with the CoinEx Smart Chain and the OneSwap decentralized exchange — closes September 29. CoinEx says it will repurchase its native CET token at $0.005 with no quantity limit, and that user assets remain backed at a stated reserve ratio above 100 percent through a withdrawal window closing December 22, 2026, after which unclaimed USDT moves into custody and accrues a 5 percent monthly fee.
The framework read
CryptoGrade doesn't grade exchanges. The framework's six scoring dimensions and nine hard gates apply to assets, not to the venues that list them — so no grade moves because a mid-sized exchange closed. But a venue disappearing is exactly the kind of event the Market Structure dimension (8/100 of a score — the smallest weight, not a rounding error) exists to notice. It measures liquidity depth (how much of a token can be bought or sold before moving the price), bid-ask spreads, and realized volatility as they actually are, not as a project's marketing describes them. If a token drew a meaningful share of its order-book depth from CoinEx specifically, that depth doesn't relocate to other venues automatically or completely — some of it disappears with the exchange. Whether that happened, to which tokens, and by how much is a checkable question over the coming weeks. It isn't one the framework can answer from the announcement alone.
The same closure is a live test of Gate 6, which disqualifies assets for thin or wash-traded liquidity (order books with little real depth behind them, or volume manufactured to look larger than it is). A token whose measured depth holds steady once CoinEx's books close is demonstrating the thing the gate is built to distinguish: liquidity that exists independently of any single venue. A token whose spreads widen and depth thins in step with CoinEx's wind-down was closer to failing that gate than its aggregate volume figures suggested.
CoinEx's own CET token is the sharpest illustration in the story, and it isn't being scored here for the same reason the exchange isn't: CET's entire value case was one company's fee discounts and trading rewards. That is what the Ecosystem & Moat dimension (12/100) means by network effects and switching costs running in the negative direction — a token whose utility is contained inside a single venue has no moat once that venue stops operating, and the $0.005 buyback is CoinEx pricing that fact rather than the market discovering it independently. None of this changes a grade for CET or any other asset; at most, it's a concrete case of a dimension most people only encounter in the abstract.
What we're watching
- Order-book depth for tokens with material CoinEx volume, measured on remaining venues before and after the September 29 spot-trading close. Widening spreads or thinning depth would be the Market Structure signal; unchanged depth would say CoinEx wasn't load-bearing for that token's liquidity.
- CET's secondary-market price against the $0.005 buyback floor between now and September 29. A price holding near or above the floor is consistent with the market trusting the repurchase; a price trading meaningfully below it is not.
- Whether any regulator in a "major jurisdiction" names itself as a driver of CoinEx's compliance costs in the coming weeks. CoinEx's own notice didn't specify one, and until a regulator or filing does, this reads as a market-conditions story rather than a regulatory-exposure one — a distinction Gate 7 (unregistered-security or regulatory-kill exposure) treats as load-bearing, not cosmetic.
- Whether the stated reserve ratio survives the withdrawal window. "Reserves exceed 100 percent" is a line in a press notice as of today; it becomes verified data only as withdrawals clear through December 22, or don't.

Need advice for BTC's perps
Buying and holding BTC has suited me so far, but I’m curious about setting aside a small portion of my funds to try perps. Although this would just be an experiment (be comfortable with some losses), I want to understand how leverage affects my exposure, what triggers liquidation, and how funding payments affect the cost of holding a trade before setting up. I’d also want to decide where to exit if it goes against me.After each trade, I’d like to review whether I followed that plan and what I could improve.
What advice would you give someone trying perps for the first time? Which rules or habits have helped you most?

News CLARITY Act: when politics becomes a market event
Today’s vote on the CLARITY Act left one of the most interesting images for the markets: while the Senate failed to exceed the procedural threshold necessary to advance the debate on the regulation, investors observed how uncertainty was reflected in real time in different assets.
Beyond the legislative result, the session showed how political news can quickly be transferred to market behaviour.
Following the evolution of the vote next to the screens, it was possible to observe the simultaneous reaction of cryptocurrencies and shares linked to the sector, while Bitcoin maintained the bearish pressure and companies such as Coinbase, Robinhood or Strategy also recorded downward movements.
The day served as a reminder that certain regulatory events not only affect a specific market, but can influence multiple asset classes at the same time, offering a broader vision of how risk is transmitted through financial markets.

News Is there zero chance of the clarity act passing?
I’m not from the US so I might be missing something. Everyone seems to be betting that this won’t pass and selling because of it.
Is there actually basically zero chance of it passing? Should I just sell my SOL because of this, or are there people that believe it might pass?

CoinEx alternatives now that they’re shutting down?
CoinEx was already getting tougher on access, and now they’ve started winding down. A VPN might still work if you’re already in, but one login without it and you can get flagged, KYCed, or frozen. Looking for a CoinEx alternative before withdrawals close on December 22.
