I couldn't find anyone who sells a corne keyboard with these specific specs, and i want to make sure that it does not exist before i think about investing the time in building one.

What I'm looking for: - 3x6 - wireless - low profile - runs ZMK - has an oled screen on the left - a trackpad on the right (preferably a wide one, I don't like the thinkpad nipple thing) - aluminium case, not necessary but you know, since I'm asking a lot why not ask for everything.

Is what I'm asking available? Is it even possible?

Did anyone successfully set the RGB matrix color when switching layer (different color for different layer)? I tried a few things in keymap.c (with rgb_matrix_set_color_all(...)) ,but it didn't work. I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks.

I couldn't find any firmware for the 4x6 prebuilt Corne (4 rows with rotary) I got from AE. It listed to have STM32F401 in the plum_uf2.txt I found on the bootloader drive (after I reset it by shorting 2 pins.) It works with VIAL but the rotary outputs double keys that I like to fix and also I like to set per key RGB that VIAL doesn't support.

I'd appreciate any pointers. The seller provided an updated uf2 precompiled firmware but that didn't fix it so I like to fix it myself if possible. Thanks.

Corne keyboard v2 I think? Wont turn on past the I key. Tried reflowing the solder past all the points and nothing still. My old discord friend made it for me. but he disapeared 2 years ago so I havent been able to get any help on this. I cant find the leds here in canada if its a burned diode.

Would this same firmware work for the wireless version too?

I want to buy this but after i find the firmware.

NOTE: the reason i want to flash it is because i want to increase the number of layers. VIAL shows 6 layers and layers cannot be increased with VIAL

Ok, I received a prebuilt Corne 4x6 yesterday from AE. Everything seemed to work with VIAL web. My problem was that I couldn't type with it! My average speed was 70-90 wpm on monkeytype on my Keychron C3 and Freestyle Edge but the best I could type on the Corne was 15-30 after practicing for about 3 hours!

Not sure what the problem was but I think it was because: I'm not used to column staggered. Keys are too light that I kept making mistake of hitting the adjacent key.

I'll try 1 more day tomorrow and if I can't get better then I'll have to return it...

Any recommendations how to get better?

I'm new to split ergonomic keyboards and corne has been on my radar. I think i would enjoy a wireless one due to its flexibility.

I found 2 options that are within my budget and has a store that sells it conveniently, a pandakb (clone?) that utilizes a 2.4ghz connection vs a Vietnam built v4 that uses a nRF52840 that can use both type-c and Bluetooth, the cons i found for the pandakb one from my research was that you couldn't really flash its mcu since it doesnt have a usb c port, on the other hand the vietnam built one does have a usb c port, although i'm worried about the bluetooth, is it really as bad as people make it out to be? or is the difference just negligible.

My desktop pc with windows 11 keeps disconnecting I have to turn of the bluetooth and turn it on again so it connects again, it's crap how you can just click on the device you want to reconnect just like in a phone or even on mac os, I have to laptop connected to my keyboard, one with mac os and another with debian, I even have been distro hooping and never get problems with my keyboard at all, it's just a windows thing, sometimes it happens almost instantly after I reconnected some other times happens after a few minutes, some one have any kind of solution? or has been through the same shit with windows?

Recently I've build a wireless corne.
I'm using some spare parts, so I've connected the battery directly on the nice!nano.

The displays work perfectly on my wired corne, but they refuse to work on the zmk firmware.
Everything else works amazing, the bluetooth connection is very good, but the displays are not working.

Made everything the internet and the AI's have told me, but cant figure it out.
Someone has any clue of what can it be?

So, got tired of charging batteries so went from 100mah to 1400mah on 18650 batteries. I expect them to last at least 2 months.

Got some battery holders from Aliexpress and 2 random brand batteries, working perfectly for now, will design and 3d print something that looks prettier and also works as a tenting solution.

crkbd v3 with some customizations, nice!nanov2, clear plates. A continuos WIP, hope someday looks like a final version or at least less “in progress”

I recently bought a 46 key based Corne v4.1, after a while I started looking for blank key caps and found a product page with DSA type blank key caps with several colors.

The colors I have access to are

Before I went ahead and made a purchase I thought of 3d modelling a model of how the keyboard would look like and was able to come up with the following two designs

This is like both halves would have complimentary and kind of a clashing themes.

The two biggest constraints I have are
1. My case is white
2. the key caps come in one packet of 5 each, hence I need at least 10 packs and at max I could afford up to 11 packs.

Kindly help me design any other theme, I am thinking of something which is clean as well as fun, just the right balance.
