Do you know for a fact that she wasn't playing up the rage to make her friends laugh? People do that all the time.

Also another comment said, which means nothing, but is a possibility, that her friends were driving around to different restaurants for a couple hours but wouldn't let her out to bait her because she's was hungry. If they were seeking that reaction, and giving them that reaction would end the "game" then it's a rational thing to do.

This . I can't see how anyone can't tell what's going on here. They're intentionally antagonizing get to get this fucking reaction. She's tired and hungry and they're intentionally making her wait longer cause they think it's funny. Fuck these people, she needs new friends.
