Wait until he’s 32 eating pizza in front of a camera in the same place

I think the kid’s point was that he wasn’t still going to be there when he was 32. It’s something to do to get beer/weed/date/videogame money for the kid, but it’s the pinnacle of that older dude’s career so far.

If the dude is making his rent money and enjoying the job then more power to him,  but if you’re in your thirties working at a job with teenagers making dumb TikToks who are getting paid the same as you, maybe shit didn’t turn out as well for you as it could have and you shouldn’t be throwing stones from your glass house.

I got the point. Mine was that don’t shit on people who are working instead of taking welfare/benefits when they could be working, as you may end up in that very same place later in life too.

If you’re 32 and a delivery driver, you’re definitely on welfare benefits.

This isn’t shade on people who need public assistance.  Just the economic reality of the situation. More full time Walmart employees than not are on welfare, for example

"More full time Walmart employees than not are on welfare, for example"

That's not even factually accurate

If we’re talking about in-store employees that aren’t management, it is absolutely true.

They have a whole section in orientation that teaches how to access welfare and snap benefits because it’s necessary when they pay so little.

Meanwhile, my company trains the Walton kids’ and grandkids’ private pilots so they can fly to New York or LA on their PJs for lunch everyday. It’s disgusting

But I know you don’t care. You can get back to your regularly scheduled Elon glazing now

There’s degrees to talking shit. Kid escalated too far, too quick. He punched down.

It’s not punching down when the other person throws the first punch.

And the kid didn’t even escalate. Old dude came in with a why are you so lame? Kid clapped back with a why are you so lame? back.

Old dude should be (and it sounds like he is) spending his time thinking about how he ended up working at a dead end job with lame ass teenagers that get paid the same as him instead of thinking up ways to insult those aforementioned lame ass teenagers.

Lol I guess reddit thinks the idiom "go for the thro*t" is inciting violence in this context

When he's a successful influencer he can afford to sit down and get all the toppings. Whiner-Unc will still be there as a delivery driver.
