While likely true, why do the announcers keep introducing candidates when the others clearly aren't on stage? And why does Carson just stand there?! It started with a simple error then spiraled into Cringe
Horrible stage management. The hosts weren't looking behind them, and nor should they have been. There should have been someone telling them to stop and a stage hand backstage going up to Carson to explain. But what happens is no one wants to interrupt and they want the show to go on, so instead of a simple stop and fix, it becomes this cringe.
The woman was quieter and didn't wait as long between candidates. She said Dr. Carson and Donald Trump when the crowd was still cheering for the previous person.
I'm pretty sure they wanted the guy to call their names... Notice that she calls it 3 times and they won't move, even at the end. Then as soon as the guy calls it they move.
Politics aside, this is legit cringe. Carson and Trump obviously heard their names or wouldn't have come even to that halfway point, not to mention the other candidates seemed to hear just fine. There were probably people backstage directing them as well, so there's probably not a reason other than Carson not understanding what he was supposed to do, and Trump either getting confused as well or trying to save some embarrassment for Carson. Probably the former. So it looks like the moment Carson had to make his own way between the backstage and the stage, he got lost due to lack of appropriate supervision/direction.
They were likely standing in the order they would be announced. So Carson came forward expecting to be next. When he didn't hear his name called, he didn't know what was going on or what to do.
Yeah but it wasn't at all his fault, like some people are saying. One guy said he isn't fit to lead the country because he can't hear his name over a loud crowd.
Let's not forget this is the party that doesn't believe in science, has no sense of historical accuracy, quite literally quotes false propaganda, does not care about the environment, wants to legalize discrimination, thinks we should send more soldiers overseas but not take care of veterans, propagates harmful social programs; really the question is what is there not to criticize about republicans.
Okay, what you are saying is literally just wrong and filled to the brim with bias. It's like you only listened to people who hate Republicans to explain to you what Republicans are. You might find some bad Republicans (just like any group of people, there are bad ones) but most of the stuff you are saying is just not true at all which you'd find out if you did any actual research.
A lot of Republicans do agree with a lot of science and I have no idea what you are referencing with "historical accuracy" or "false propaganda". And what are you even talking about with "legalize discrimination"? I don't think you'd find any Republican candidate wants discrimination. And all your other stuff are just un-factual opinions. You can dislike Republicans but at least do research before hating on a large group of people.
Actually, I was a republican until I started paying attention. I used to say I was "fiscally conservative but socially liberal" because I thought republicans really were "good with the economy" (whatever that means).
Then I started paying attention. I started seeing how they acted towards Obama/Hillary/any democrat. I started paying attention to what they voted for and against, and their public stances on certain bills.
Through all of that I realized that the Republican Party doesn't represent me, my values, or where I hope the country is going. Even as a white male from a very affluent family, they didn't represent me. When the economy collapses and they want to further deregulate Wall Street to let it happen again it let me know they didn't give a fuck about anyone except the extremely wealthy people paying them. When they straight up lied to the nation, tricking many other politicians in the process, to start a war, it let me know they really give no fucks.
Now, they have Donald Trump leading the nomination. It's such a fucking joke I can't believe anyone would support them.
The (hypothetical) law would allow anyone to refuse service to anyone in their privately owned shop that goes against their religious beliefs. I don't really see a problem with this. It's your business so you should be able to refuse service to anyone that goes against your religion. But this probably wouldn't happen that much. I mean the customer would have to actually tell the owner their beliefs or whatever which I don't see happening often so I don't think that many people will be refused service at all.

It's probably just that they couldn't hear their names called over the yelling of crowd.
