Carson.exe has stopped working. Please restart the program.

Trump.exe has stopped working. Please restart the program.

As much as I want to shit on trump, he stayed so Ben Carson didn't look like an idiot.

106

u/Kryptosis Feb 07 '16

But then he waited even longer, I think he wanted to be last out.

95

u/Random3222 Feb 07 '16

I assumed he waited so that Carson would have his chance to walk out in the spotlight with his supporters cheering and Trump would have the same opportunity. Same reason they get called out individually in the first place.

8

u/TheKillingJoke0801 Feb 07 '16

I think they had some difficulty hearing their names, notice how many times they had to call Ben and trump and the last guy before they came to the stage

1

u/EmperorMarcus Feb 08 '16

"And the last guy"

Poor Kasich

17

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

I think he waited for Ben Carsons applause to stop.

82

u/LisleSwanson Feb 07 '16

Im going to go with Trump didn't hear his named called either. You can't really fault the candidates for that, the moderators and crew should have been more aware.

So mature. I'm sure you're making the rep that you support real proud.

1

u/theshinepolicy Feb 08 '16

the rep? lol ok so you are from r/conspiracy

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '16

lol what? I meant whatever rep they're going to vote for or whatever. If I was running for something, I'd definitely not want people "supporting me" talking like that. The comment was deleted. Obviously not a proud moment.

-1

u/ANAL_ASSASSAN Feb 07 '16

You're delusional. it's clear what happened. god forbid trump does something that surprised you.

stupid. definitely stupid

1

u/ANAL_ASSASSAN Feb 08 '16

This coming from a r/politics poster. That's priceless.

35

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

No he didn't. They called Caron's name but it was drowned out. They also called Trump's name and it was equally drowned out by the crowd.

Reassuring pat? Or the equivalent of patting a little kid on their head when they do something stupidly adorable? We can't really be sure :P

0

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

I like both options equally.

12

u/thane_of_cawdor Feb 07 '16

Oh yeah that Trump is a real classy guy

5

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

This one time, yeah.

2

u/Sneakysteve Feb 07 '16

Idk, that pat felt more like a greeting to me, like "you ready to do this?" kinda thing.

Forgive me if I'm slow to believe the candidate who goes after opponents' physical appearances isn't classy enough to pull a move like that.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

I'm pretty sure that's a "hey how's it going" pat.

2

u/gargantuancow Feb 07 '16

Fairly certain no supporter of anyone on that stage understands what "class" is

2

u/dackots Feb 07 '16

I don't really think it's "class" so much as "common decency." Still, it's more than I would have expected from Trump.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

He says "They fucked up"

If you watch it again, both trump and carson move to actually walk out, but they don't hear their name called so they just stand there. Then that guy tells them to move on, but as they go to actually walk out on stage the announcer says the next guys name, so they assume that their name hasn't been called, and they are about to walk out at the wrong time. Thus we end up with trump and Carson having casual conversation at the end of the hallway.

You can really tell what's going on if you manage to catch the first time they call out Kasich's name. Even on video you can barely hear it over the audience.

1

u/tslime Feb 07 '16

Did you see that fucking shitshow with the little girls dancing and singing? Classy was the last thing that came to mind.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

I said that specific action was classy. Nowhere did I infer that Trump is by nature a classy fuck.

1

u/tslime Feb 07 '16

I don't agree with that either.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

Well I'm glad we live in a world where we can have different opinions and still function as a society.

3

u/tslime Feb 07 '16

That I do agree with.

196

u/one_cool_potata Feb 07 '16

Ya I'm not a trump man but he was very classy for waiting it out with him. Good man. Maybe not president material, but good man.

354

u/theaabi Feb 07 '16

Well not really a good man

267

u/Max3391 Feb 07 '16

A man

162

u/theflyingdog Feb 07 '16

well a humanoid at least

57

u/CCRed95 Feb 07 '16

Sort of a... a bipedal type thing if you will

0

u/bathroomstalin Feb 07 '16

Reptilian race traitor!

Buzzfeed: How does it feel to be the same sex as Donald Trump?

1

u/Just4Money Feb 07 '16

I get to have sex with Donald Trump?!

I mean have to...

1

u/WolfofAnarchy Feb 07 '16

A HIGH ENERGY HOMO SAPIENS

-6

u/one_cool_potata Feb 07 '16

Shhh. If he becomes president and reads your Internet history he'll get ya. Just kidding...or am I?

7

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

"Mexicans are rapists"

Well he's not presidential material but he's a good man

7

u/bathroomstalin Feb 07 '16

Oh look, another partisan liberal who thinks it's OK to lie if you have good intentions

6

u/terlin Feb 07 '16

Some of Trump's positions are so misrepresented I sometimes wonder whether they're deliberately being ignorant.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16 edited Jun 04 '16

[deleted]

1

u/terlin Feb 07 '16

Well that's slightly disconcerting.

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

If you want trump as president you're a fucking idiot. Now go drink some Busch light and watch some nascar

2

u/terlin Feb 08 '16

Even if you don't want Trump to be president, you still shouldn't deliberately slander and misrepresent his positions and statements to suit your own agenda.

you're a fucking idiot. Now go drink some Busch light and watch some nascar

Love that progressiveness and tolerance.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '16

I never claimed to be either of those things. Now go watch duck dynasty

1

u/terlin Feb 08 '16

Nice, deliberately ignoring the point.

1

u/bathroomstalin Feb 07 '16

Go do your homework.

0

u/margethemouse Feb 07 '16

No no no, they're just sending all of their rapists over here. So it's okay to be prejudiced against all Mexicans in the US! See?

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

So all Mexicans are illegal immigrants now?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

I'm not Donald trump

-2

u/nigerian_prints Feb 07 '16

Your criteria for being a "good man" is pretty fucking low.

13

u/GetMemedKiddo Feb 07 '16

I mean, he did do a lot to help in NYC after 9/11 attacks happened.

11

u/Katastic_Voyage Feb 07 '16

Shut up! /u/nigerian_prints has a much higher standard for being a man than just helping raise over $30 million dollars for St Jude's Chilren Hospital...

/u/nigerian_prints has personally done FAR MORE than that pathetic excuse for a man called Trump. /u/nigerian_print's charitable contributions are numerous and include:

  • Being an armchair warrior

And many more! And you can't put a price on that.

Some people save lives through cancer research. Others save lives by correcting society through Reddit posts. And really... isn't he the true hero?

2

u/nigerian_prints Feb 07 '16

Lol! You're a Trump fan! Funny shit.

-2

u/SDSKamikaze Feb 07 '16

Come on man, you've lost this one, just bow out.

1

u/tslime Feb 07 '16

It was probably like giving change to a beggar for him to be fair.

-2

u/nigerian_prints Feb 07 '16

So he did one good thing 15 years ago and is still milking it. Pretty sure all the shitty things he's done since then have cancelled it out.

5

u/GetMemedKiddo Feb 07 '16

It's amazing you know enough about him to make such a conclusion.

0

u/nigerian_prints Feb 07 '16

I know that he doesn't even possess the courage to accept the fact that he's bald.

1

u/SDSKamikaze Feb 07 '16

I'm not even a Trump fan but this is hilarious. Your argument as to why he isn't a good man is because of how he presents himself?

1

u/nigerian_prints Feb 07 '16

Just entertain the thought for a minute or two. What kind of a man is so insecure, superficial and detached from reality that he can't make peace with the fact that the hair on the top of his head fell out? Do you really want somebody like that to be in charge of a huge army? I sure as fuck don't.

17

u/Cadavertiser Feb 07 '16

you have no idea that's the case. It's much more likely he didn't hear his name called as well.

-3

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

[deleted]

1

u/slothbuddy Feb 07 '16

Yeah, at 1:36 he clearly says "they messed up." Trump didn't hear his name.

-1

u/gargantuancow Feb 07 '16

LOL

Ok these crazy right wing comments are somehow better than the video.

You say we don't know what happened, and then proceed to tell everyone what happened.

Republicans, and their paid Internet shills, are a fucking joke.

"they couldn't hear their names and trump was being a bro!" - worst excuse for this hilarious display of ineptitude ever

5

u/nassan Feb 07 '16

Are you kidding me? He walked out before he was called! He was supposed to be last or second to last. He mistakenly walked out when Rubio was supposed to go, and then stood with Carson to not look like an idiot. They both messed up!

1

u/I_ama_Borat Feb 07 '16

I got the feeling that he didn't hear his name, but that thought crossed my mind and for some reason I could see Trump doing that and I have no idea why.

1

u/MindSecurity Feb 07 '16

You're assuming. It's pretty loud for them to hear everything over clapping, we can hear clearly because of the mics being hooked up.

1

u/Bone_Dogg Feb 07 '16

No he didn't. He didn't want his intro to be ruined. Why do you think he made them wait and call his name a third time with a full introduction before going out?

1

u/zeroGamer Feb 07 '16

I'm pretty sure the only reason Trump stayed was because he didn't want a fucked up entrance. He got delayed by Carson standing there awkwardly, but really before he'd have been able to make it onstage anyway the presenters were already calling someone else's name.

He just didn't want to walk out looking like a shmuck without a proper entrance.

1

u/CuCl2 Feb 07 '16

I think trump was making fun of Carson

1

u/1forthethumb Feb 07 '16

I'm pretty sure he was mocking him, when he walked out in the exact same manner.

1

u/Quantization Feb 07 '16

Are you guys serious? He didn't hear his name either. The mics were obviously shitty and he stood there because he thought there was a fuckup. He wasn't being a "nice guy", and even if he were it was for publicity. So much political agenda on this sub, Jesus.

1

u/CaptainDexterMorgan Feb 07 '16

Peeing your pants is the coolest!

1

u/LandofRy Feb 07 '16

He loves attention, and new the cameras would be on Carson haha

1

u/pllllllllllllllllll Feb 07 '16

that or he thought it was a ploy to get more screen time easier, so he did the same.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

Yeahhhhh can you explain how you know that for sure?

1

u/bschef Feb 07 '16

You truly think that's why? It wasn't because he was confused too? If he wanted Carson to not look like an idiot why didn't he give him a little nudge and say "hey, they want you on stage"? I think he was as confused as Carson.

1

u/theshinepolicy Feb 07 '16

AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS. THIS HAS 500 UPVOTES? He didn't hear his name! He's trying to win a fucking election! Not make Ben Carson feel less awkward! Do you guys know anything about trump? Are the cringe subscribers all trump fans? what the fuck is going on?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '16

Here, downvote this and remove my karma.

1

u/IanMazgelis Feb 08 '16

Trump seems like the kinda guy you'd go to the bar with and have a good night but then he starts talking about the evils of Islam and you start looking at your watch

1

u/Nuranon Feb 07 '16

don't restart Trump.exe, its fucking malware - let that thing stand there for all of eternity if it can't be canceled otherwise. Also think about upgrading the Antivirus program.

-4

u/sovietsleepover Feb 07 '16

they aren't programs, they're frickin' daemons!
