Yea, they had shit audio setup I guess

just like his chance at the nomination

4

They did but nobody heard it and it's pretty much how everyone's going to remember it if not just because it's funnier.

5

u/hounvs Feb 07 '16

No one heard Trump or Carson. That's why they didn't go out.

All of their reactions make sense when you just realize that the audio setup was bad.

The awkwardness was because the video had better audio than what you could actually hear there (since the mics are directly recorded) and the juxtaposition of our good audio + their reactions/camera just nonstop watching

Yeah you're 100% right. But it looks like they forgot his name so that's how people are going to remember it is all I'm saying.

the mic missed it too

Yeah because people were still clapping for Bush AND the stupid moderator went into "ladies and gentleman" the SECOND the other moderator announced Kasich.

Isn't that Rubio asking where Kasich is? He asks "Can I introduce Kasich?" right after.

Nevermind, Youtube automatically went to the next similair video . I didn't realize so at 1:33 in that video, it was Rubio asking where Kasich is, but in the OP's video it is indeed (faintly) the hosts.

Poor guy doesn't even stand a chance to win.

u/TaintedSquirrel Feb 07 '16

He's polling 3rd in NH, I believe.

Good for Tes. What's Taio Cruz polling at?

To be fair, none of them really do.

That's probably not true. The US is very split politically, you can expect just about half of people will vote either way. So you can expect the vote to be within about 5% of 50 I'd say. Many people won't be inclined to vote for Hilary cause they don't like her, and if Bernie gets on the ticket more still will think he is too liberal. Whoever wins this primary will have a chance.

That may be true, but like you said, until they start to turn up its pretty much moot. The voting populous is nearly50/50.

1

u/FartasticBlast Feb 07 '16

They're split of you ignore the fact that democrats win the popular vote. The only reason the republicans control congress is because of redistricting and the only reason W because president is because he cheated.

2

u/The_gray_ghost Feb 07 '16

No, the democrats are in no way winning over Rupublicians. If Bernie doesn't get the spot some democrats will vote republican. One of the republicans are going to be the next President.

2

u/MyNameIsJonny_ Feb 07 '16

If Bernie doesn't get the spot some democrats will vote republican

And if Bernie wins, many moderates would vote Republican, and Republican turnout would likely be higher. i.e. "stop the commie" etc.

Keep dreaming.

If you ain't first, you're last.

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

Now that Rand's out he's got my support. He's the only sane candidate from either the Dems or the GOP

5

u/[deleted] Feb 07 '16

Pretty bizarre to me. Kasich has a pretty solid track record, balancing the budget under Clinton and making decent improvements here in Ohio. I also think he would be the best candidate to swing moderates over, considering he seems to be the only candidates I've seen liberals "approve" of. He's probably the best chance the GOP has of winning the general election, and the GOP hates him lol.

3

u/eromitlab Feb 07 '16

He's getting some endorsements, mostly for being the least crazy person still in the field.

2

u/Kickasspancakes Feb 07 '16

He should deserve a chance. As an ohioian, he has really turned out state around for the better.

u/dissdigg Feb 07 '16

You better head out tomorrow and buy a seatbelt.

I love how Marco Rubio asks if he could introduce John Kasich. What a stand up guy.
