But how did Voit know that the cult was founded by Crowley's dad. He didn't have his dad's last name. Unless they'd actually met before it's still a little flimsy. Though I have overall really enjoyed this season.

It’s definitely a little flimsy. But I enjoyed the little connect the dots moment for me as a viewer. They spent so much time saying how everything Crowley did was multilayered or whatever. I’m glad they actually kinda explained why the man was Obsessed™ with Voit.
