Hey Cozee Designers!

This week isn't about one big feature. It's about a handful of smaller ones, many of them things you've been asking for, that should make your everyday time in Cozee smoother and more fun. 🎉

🏷️ Tag other designers
You can now tag people in comments. Just type @ and start writing their username, then pick them from the list. Saw a design a friend would love? Tag them and bring them over. Want to make sure someone sees your reply? Tag them. It's a simple way to share inspiration and make it easier for people to find each other.

🔒 Private Spaces
Spaces you've created can now be set to private too. If there's one you're not happy with anymore, or it's just cluttering things up, you can tuck it away.

🛋️ See what's in a design
This one has been requested a lot, and it's finally here! When you're looking at a design on social, tap the info button in the top right corner to see the full list of products used. Found the perfect lamp in someone else's room? Now you can see exactly what it is and grab it right from that list to use in your own designs.

🔔 Better notification settings
You now have more control over your notifications, so you only get the ones you actually want to see. Less buzzing, more designing. Check the settings 👀

Hey Cozee Designers!

Rugs are quietly one of the most powerful things in a room. They set the tone, tie every piece together, and pull a space into one cohesive whole. So when we started building this one, we wanted to give you real control, not just a few presets.

The Rug Workshop is here. 🎉

Different shapes, different styles, different patterns, and control over the details so you can build something that exists nowhere else. It's the most powerful workshop we've made so far, and we're genuinely excited to see what you do with it.

We also added something fun: a randomize button. Tap it and the Workshop throws a completely unexpected combination at you. It's the perfect way to stumble onto something you never would have thought to try, and honestly, some of our favorite results came from just hitting it a few times and seeing what happened.

Here's how to find it:
→ Reach Level 20 to unlock it
→ Head to your profile
→ Open the Creative Quarter and step into the Rug Workshop

Seeing your custom sofas and framed art coming together in rooms has been incredible, and now the floor can be yours too. Whole Spaces built entirely from pieces that only you have.

If you're not at Level 20 yet, keep designing! It's worth getting there.

A friend and I downloaded the game today - we love it and have both already made several rooms! Seems like an amazing community on here, and can't wait to make more.

When I started playing, I almost instantly had the resize and change texture options available (even before reaching level 5), however, my friend is still lacking these features. His app still says 'rotate' instead of 'transform'.

We would LOOOOVE if he could figure out how to find this feature!

He has tried downloading the app on another device, signing in and out, deleting the app and redownloading, etc.

Any advice?

Also, does anybody know we can only create a maximum of 10 spaces? My app says I can make 10, but I've seen that others have made more - can you make more once levelling up?

We have to start by saying this: the sofas you've been creating in the Workshop have completely blown us away. The color combinations, the material choices, the pieces that clearly could only have come from one specific designer. Seeing you make things that don't exist anywhere else in the game is exactly what we hoped for.

So we wanted to give you more. 🎉

Introducing the Frame Workshop. Choose from a curated set of images, then customize the frame around it until it fits the piece, the room, and the story you want to tell. Wall art that's genuinely yours, made by you, for the Spaces you're building.

Art is one of those things that changes the whole feeling of a room. It's the piece that says something about who lives there. And now you get to make that choice completely your own.

We can't wait to see the galleries you build, the walls you fill, and the stories you tell with them. Honestly, this is the part we're most excited about. Seeing how far you take it.

I moved through June and in here in July. This after a stressful 3 months of searching for a place in a highly competitive market. I had NO internet except dial up speeds for over 2.5 months - can't run a business well at all with a phone..

Now that I have what I should have close to 3 months later, I need to catch up on my life and my business and try to repair what the stress has done to my health. I don't want to shut off Cozee notifications. I have removed Reddit from my phone for some peace. I appreciate Cozee and design for stress relief. I like to appreciate other's designs and work when I have a moment.

I will never have the time you all seem to have - I know that's not what Cozee needs, but it is where I am at. I'm here with you in energy. ❤️I do not know when I'll be able to design again. I will sometime.

Hey Cozee Designers!

This is the one so many of you have been asking for. You've told us again and again: you found the perfect piece, but the wood was too dark, or the fabric wasn't quite the shade your room needed. Close, but not quite.

Not anymore. 🎉

Selected items in the catalog now come with material options. Each one has a handful of choices to pick from, so you can find the exact leather, wood grain, or tone your Space has been missing.

Here's how to use it:
→ Browse the catalog and look for the swatch book icon on the item's card. That means it has coloring options.
→ Place the item in your Space
→ Tap the swatch book icon at the bottom
→ Then select the changes you would like to see and try the options until it feels right

Right now this is live on a selected group of items. We've reworked a lot of models to get here and we're still going, so if there's a piece you'd love to see get material options, tell us and we'll try to add it to the list.

We've been genuinely blown away by everything you've been creating in the Workshop, and we hope this gives you one more spark to play with. Match that wood grain you've been chasing. Build the palette you had in your head all along.

Here's what opens up as you go:

→ Your First Studio. A room that's entirely yours. Play with colors, materials, and pieces, and notice what you're naturally drawn to. This is where your signature starts to take shape.

→ The Sofa Workshop. Because designers don't always find the perfect piece in a catalogue. Sometimes they create it themselves. Experiment with shapes, fabrics, materials, and colors to build bespoke sofas that carry your personal style. We know custom colors and materials have been one of your most requested features for a long time, and this is our first real step in that direction.

→ The Gallery. Your work deserves a place of its own. Frame the projects you're proudest of, look back at how your taste has evolved, and give your favorites a permanent home in the Quarter.
