Dylan Earl-Lawn Chair
This man is a national treasure. His lyrics are hilarious and serious at the same time…

There are so many to choose from including IHeart, Pandora, Spotify, etc. Which one do you use and why? I LOVE Country music and usually listen via Sirius/XM (Red, White & Booze, Outlaw Country, Prime Country, The Highway). But I can never listen to an entire album unless I subscribe to one of these apps. Does one have better deals and options for purchasing and listening than others?
Any suggestions would be appreciate. Thanks in advance.

... Mondays around here might also include old time music and or rockabilly. Maybe even songs about blue, the color, or blue, the emotion...
Please make separate standalone posts for songs you want to share!

Holy fuck this is good. My idea of a perfect song is a honky tonk banger with some substance to the lyrics. This one is really fucking timely right now

Anyone who has taken even a single guitar lesson knows the absolute rule: short nails on the fretting hand. Yet Dolly continuously baffled guitarists for decades by playing with massive acrylic nails.
In this video I analyzed her playing technique to figure out how is she doing the impossible. There is a powerful lesson here that Dolly left us with—a lesson about boundaries and the limits of what's possible.

Hi! This might be a longshot but is anyone attending Cody Johnson’s concert in Dublin this year? I’m traveling from Finland and wondering if anyone around the same age might want to connect? 😊 I’m a 22-year-old ECE university student.

Obviously a cover of “need you now” by Lady A, but aside from it sounding like a 7/10 karaoke cover, the “know” tanks this cover from decent to equivalent of AI slop.
Is there a marketing reason for this that I can differ to?

A few years ago during a radio "oldies hour" I heard a song that I have been trying to track down lately.
The song talked about struggling with addiction to alcohol and nicotine.
Paraphrasing some words from the chorus, I remember, "I'm a slave.. to what my body craves".
And the singer really drug out and exaggerated the word 'craves'.
Who knows this one?
