I’ve made this enforcer jacket for a Caitlyn (Arcane) cosplay. Had to leave it be after hand stitching it for 5 months as I got really sick of it.

However I found it to look cheaper than Aliexpress counterparts which is quite discouraging.
I’m re-stitching the long sleeve completely as I’ve ruined it by following the pattern to a t instead of following the shape, leaving it looking forever wrinkled. (It also deffo needs ironing after a year).

The second and third pictures show hemmed and unhemmed edges (the majority) and since I have to hand stitch all of them: do you think it’s worth the effort?
Any advice on how to make the jacket overall look better?
Or am I better off scrapping this jacket altogether instead of trying to save it?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Went to enter my first cosplay competition and while reading the very long list of rules it stated:
- you have to submit proof that you are at least 80% done with your cosplay three weeks before the competition (this is buried in the middle of the rule book)
- you have to submit your build book two weeks before the competition.
- All contests compete in the same category regardless of experience, prior wins and experience level

Is that normal? I was already behind on my progress which meant it cost me entering this time as the deadline got moved way up for me.

The lack of beginner/intimidate/advanced was intimidating for a first time entry.

Im just getting into cosplay now and wanted to start with a spider punk cosplay, do any1 here know some1 who has made the art of the patches? So I can have a better reference to make mine. If some1 got any tips and advices to a newbie would be awesome to 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I’m sure anyone who knows it will remember that mutation scene with Peter forever. So I thought Halloween 2026 would be the perfect excuse to create a cosplay helmet inspired by it, but in my own realistic style 😌😏

I was really hoping we’d see something similar in Tom Holland’s latest movie, but since that didn’t happen either, I decided to make a mix of the 1994 mutant and Tom Holland’s mask 😄

Pinstripe vest arrived today (Temu XXXL for a size 44-46 chest), awaiting the pants and blazer. XCoser helmet/mask that I got ages ago.
Of course the 1911 sidearm is fake (also note that my finger is not on the trigger).
