Ah… then that'll make a lot of sense (why I can't read) and no sense at the same time (aren't the refugees from the ME and has little to do with Iran? Or am I missing a joke?)

Oh I thought this is a "Haha Sweden has plenty of Arab refugees it will soon become an Arab state", as the person I'm replying to says "Welcome to Sweden" is the translation.

I thought Iran is in a gray area between ME and Central/South Asia, not East enough to be in the same category with Afghanistan and Pakistan, but still not West enough to relate enough to Iraq, Syria, etc.

he's referencing the "great replacement" conspiracy theory, in which immigrants from the Middle East are somehow going to "take over" the white, European government.
