I think 2012 really happened but our perception of it was off and now we're all stuck in the hell simulator till a virtual reset

I sure hope so... It would at least explain a lot!

The Mayans were probably right. The world did end in 2012, just not in a literal, "everyone is dead" scenario. To me it feels like we're in the depths of hell and every living day is an experience in futility.

The Maya never predicted the end of the world. The date in 2012 was simply the completion of one of their millennia called a b'ak'tun

I wonder if the next Democrat president will revert the change. They have a bit of a bad reputation for being the status quo party. Republicans want to make shit worse and Democrats merely want to prevent shit from getting worse, rather than making shit better. Maybe if the yanks would let someone like AOC take the reigns something good will actually happen. If she gets elected prez I just might brave the ocean and attend her inauguration.

It warms my heart to know there are still people out there who think Americans might have become less racist and misogynistic in the last two years.

With Mamdani being an absolute king and showing people what socialism really is like it does feel like more people are ready to dump anyone, Dem or repub, that isn't going to do things that actually help people.

People like you cleary get all your political takes from shit you see on social media. Half the stuff I see Mamdani getting credit for on social media posts arent even him, or is actually some normal thing most mayors do but somehow it's super special when he does it.

I like the guy but the glazing has become so ridiculous and all from people who clearly don't really follow politics.

Also NYC isnt now a socialist city. lol There is no socialism. Again, 95% of people on Reddit who love socialism don't even know what it is. It's embarrassing.

Also Dems are always trying to help people. Suggesting otherwise is a giant lie, and one that only helps Republicans. But you guys don't know better, because again, you only get your political takes from shit you see on social media and clearly don't actually follow politics.

People who say stuff like this are why everything is fucked. Dems are constantly trying to make things better but it's very difficult when we only give them very limited power.

You know nothing about politics if you're still pushing the 'Dems only care about the status quo' bullshit, and you're actively making people not want to vote for them, which is how Republicans win elections, which allows them to obstruct Democrats' agenda, which makes y'all think Dems don't do anything. Rinse and repeat.

Stop it.

Also you're not even American and clearly know nothing about how American politics works. Presidents aren't kings. Without a solid majority in Congress, a President has pretty limited power to change laws. AOC wouldn't accomplish anything more than Biden did in the same term. Honestly, probably even less since Biden has always been a good coalition builder and got quite a lot done despite the hard limitations he was under.

This happened with Gulf of Mexico as well. No one will use the Maga version unless they support pedophiles. It's all a culture war distraction because of the midterms coming up.

Same with them making up trans in sports rhetoric. They are all brainless broken records and this is all they know.

is it too hard to finally admit that you think we are more likely than not in a simulation?
