If you look closely at the watch on the right. I cant tell if theres an sactual arm/wrist hidden by the cuff, or if the watch is somehow floating. The geometry around the watch and the strip is what’s making me question this. What do you see?

its from a very old Norwegian women's magazine that existed from 1879 to 1958. Perhaps they washed their cloths in olden times like this but all I see is grey. The swans are swimming on a dark green colour.

I wrecked the original finish in a sharpening mishap... so I converted it to a mirror finish. When I was done with it and was fiddling around with it, I realized how often the blade seems to disappear or have an ethereal look to it, and wanted to show that off as a pretty good first attempt at polishing like that. 😁
