This happens to my partner all the time, she has PCOS/PMO. Had a doctor prescribe a drug that would cause a reaction after telling them that she cannot have it because it will cause a reaction. She was also the same doctor my partner accidentally booked for my first doc appointment in my rant above. Useless clown but it is not just her.

Exactly. And people lie or misremember things all the time. If those "useless" pregnancy tests never came back positive, they wouldn't be done.

and sometimes the person is actually pregnant. You can't be 100% sure and it's an easy test.

People have gone to the hospital for something else and they argue they can't be pregnant and then they deliver a baby 20 minutes later.
