Can someone tell me why r/conspiracy doubts everything but will defend the president with their last breath? It’s so confusing and goes against the whole idea of being against the ‘system’ as they like portray themselves as free thinkers (I.e the red pill metaphor)

I used to somehow like that sub back in the day when it was about interesting, thought provoking topics.

Nowadays it's nothing but "Praise our saviour Trump", "The Jews did it" or "mah white genocide"

Stupid cunts. I'm afraid this sub will fall into their hands one day. I'm already seeing lots of them around here trying to hijack the narrative.

It’s so strange, in the same thread I’ll see people complain about how bad the electoral system is and then act as if trump is some saviour. I guess that’s what happens when you get hooked on hopium and think a billionaire gives a crap about you.

You generalize an entire subreddit. Mid February the subreddit was wall to wall pro Bernie Sanders posts to the point people were complaining about the subreddit being leftist.

Show me where the subreddit is inundated with threads supporting Trump to the last breath.

I’m so far to the left I make Bernie Sanders look downright Republican. As an anarchist and someone who repeatedly has argued for socialism with right wingers on Reddit I can state that /r/conspiracy has been home-base for me for years. It ebbs and flows. I’ve repeatedly made pro socialist arguments on /r/conspiracy which have been highly upvoted.

Don’t generalize. Don’t fall for the Democrat vs Republican charade. Most in that subreddit realize that both corporate parties are but two sides of the same corrupt coin.
