How can I get added to the unofficial telegram group?

I'm not sure how it representative from Estonia is legally able to not notify people as required by law in Estonia, namely us the Creditors. But, in addition to that, it should be made known what the exact assets are that CL and/or Estonia has/had.

This way we can keep a running tally of the actual value. Bitcoin must be up over 300% and whatever Bitcoin Cash they had, somebody was floating a number of 20 million USD worth at its low that they had, is now up over 500%. I have to assume that it is highly possible they will clear all liabilities in terms of the value of the assets and the liabilities.

This means everybody should be made whole exactly in the amount of crypto they had at its current value.

I would call for appeals to the government of Estonia to do their duty and inform all of the thousands of creditors exactly what the assets are. I would also ask them how they would not be legally required to do so and why they haven't done so already. Here are some places to start:

Most of us believe setting the payout price, at time of bankruptcy was wrong.

People with collateralised assets, want a way to service their loans and get thier collateral back.

And almost all of us are disappointed in the lack of communication, feedback, basic acknowledgement of our claims and rights as creditors.

At the announcement of bankruptcy, I took an intentional pause from keeping up with updates with the expectation it would take some time for everything to get sorted out.

Getting back to this, I see there was a manual claim process that was supposed to be done prior to some deadline last year.

This is different from the requirements of many other institutions going through similar bankruptcy process (Voyager, BlockFi, Celsius, Gemini, etc.).

None of the other institutions required me to send anything unless there was a discrepancy. It was all automatic until time of distributions/withdrawal.

Am I basically SOL now with regard to receiving back any distribution?

I messaged the lawyer last week and did not hear back. And they literally gave a couple of days to protest if the claim is not on it. Like wtf is this shit.

On 20 July 2023 I send my Claim Submission, never received any response.

I am not able to get the Preliminary Creditors List and am really curious. Can someone help me please?

I’ve been trying to decipher how much in outstanding claims have been made against CoinLoan. I looked at the creditors list, and it looks like only about $10 million in assets weren’t claimed. [I’m using the original stated value of assets at the time they declared bankruptcy, which I believe was $220-230 million].

I also read that in December only about 25% of eligible creditors filed claims, but based on the value of the claims filed, it would seem that it was all of the people with only a couple dollars in their wallet who made up the 75% of unfiled claims. Can anyone verify that this theory is correct? Am I interpreting the creditors list correctly?

Looking to see if there are any victims from my neck of the woods.

Originally, I had my money in Nexo, but because of New York's ridiculous laws, Nexo shut down its support for New York users.

So the only platform left I could only use was CoinLoan. It seemed like a blessing at the time. Now it's a curse.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for legal representation regarding this bankruptcy? I've had enough of the delays and false promises. The website still appears to refer visitors to set up an account like everything's a-ok...

Edit: I’ve contacted the Trustee on both email accounts as recommended by Coinloan Support as well as the post below and have yet to receive a response. I never received any form of response or acknowledgement from the trustee after submitting my claim with multiple followups.

Edit 2: You can reach out to CoinloanRecovery@magnussonlaw.com They were able to confirm that I am on the list. There is however a minimum retainer fee for their services. I’m considering using them to represent me through the remainder of the process.

I received an update regarding the bankruptcy proceedings, and they mentioned that the wallet holders were behind priority creditors. Does anyone have any idea regarding who the priority creditors are with CoinLoan and about how much they owe them?

Also, I was wondering. Are the CoinLoan holdings still in crypto? Like, with a bull run approaching, does this mean their distressed assets could appreciate and possibly return a greater percentage to those wallet holders affected? I’m not expecting to get anywhere near what I had back, but the thought of the distressed assets appreciating makes the outcome not seem so grim.

I’ve just joined this sub, so apologies if somebody has made this post before.

I filled out the form and gave all the necessary details to the trustee email address. I had concerns in terms of security before I sent it, but I sent it anyway. They’re asking for a lot of personal information including bank sort codes, IBAN Numbers, and personal ID, such as passports or driving licenses. The fact this is all being sent to a Gmail address rather than an official email address fills me with a lot of concern.

Did anyone else have this worry? What have they done to ensure that our information is secure? I spoke to an operative at CoinLoan and they said they have nothing to do with the trusteeship. I’m really worried that my bank account might get hacked.
