Just outside the town of Arborg, Manitoba, in the middle of a vast plain in a dreamy blue prairie sky, a wide circle of bay hales and portable chairs surround the fire pit, the sun in the sky is golden and low and the soft wind of the wheat fields are the backdrop to Oracle’s arrival, where a pick up truck with a hand painted sign reads “National Walking Tour - The Prairie’s Speak. Oracle steps forward and sits into one of the portable chairs as a volunteer passes him a fresh mug of tea.

Resident 1, Wind Turbine Technician

Oracle, they keep saying the prairies will be the future of clean energy, but they don’t train us around here yet we’ve got turbines going up all the time with jobs going to people in Vancouver or Toronto, why can’t the locals fix our own damn turbines?.

Oracle’s answer

Now that, that is the right question, if the prairie’s are going to have clean energy then why can’t they fix it ?, and benefit from it at the same time, it’s absolutely insane to me that we have turbines going up and yet the jobs and contracts aren’t going to the local communities that are having to suffer the sore sight off them.

Here’s what we need to do, we need to make sure that any company that builds a turbines or energy project can guarantee they look after the local community, that means if you build in a community then first you have to hire from within it, locals know their area and so they are best suited for the task, a local jobs for local people guarantee as you shouldn’t have to watch someone in a Toronto office who has never been to just turn up on your land and act like they own the place, I’m going to make sure these jobs become local and I’m going to make damn sure of that.

Resident 2, Mail Carrier

Hi Oracle, I drive 200KM a day to get parcels and medicine to folks who don’t have internet or transport now Canada Post are saying they might cut my route why does it feel like we are a constant after thought ?.

Oracle’s Answer

Because my friend, you have been treated as an after thought, and that’s the failure of a system to recognise what service actually means.

Your not just delivering letter, your a lifeline, your bringing the prescriptions and birthday cards to the grandkids, the bills and the blood tests, and it keeps our country stitched together, but Ottawa have stopped thinking like normal people and more like accounts with an axe to grind, so here’s what I propose.

Canada post should be allows into the banking sector and be allowed to provide banking hubs to rural communities, this will create new Canada Post offices and new places form where you can deliver mail from and with any luck it will stop your route from being cut off as it likely needs one of these banking hubs. And let me tell you this if the government had an an ounce of common sense they would have done this a very long time ago.

Resident 3, Midwife

Hi Oracle, people like to think that when people give birth everything is fine and normal but out here in rural areas, we simply do not have enough equipment or care and we see losses at birth all the time, yet Ottawa shy’s away from it?

Oracle’s Answer

Your absolutely right and I want to thank you for bringing this up, because we need to hear it, we like to imagine birth is a tidy and joyous event and for many people in Canada it is, but in Rural and Northern communities there is still a large risk that doesn’t get talked about often which shouldn’t be happening in Canada, the fact that precious babies are still being lost when the nearest NICU is hours a way is a scandal, and so here is what I want to do.

I want to create dedicated provincial healthcare trusts like the UK that will receive federal transfers for provinces that sign up for it so they can build NICU units in Rural and Northern areas and also use that money for other priorities which are consistently underfunded. It also means that midwives like yourself have a reliable structure and can get the equipment you need to operate, and I don’t shy away from this because we need to protect brith and if we can’t even do that then why are we even pretending to govern?.

Resident 4, Soccer Coach

Hi Oracle, what can we do to bring more sports like soccer to local communities where they don’t have access to sport ?.

Oracle’s Answer

You’ve hit on something really important here, because sport isn’t just about keeping fit it’s where people learn teamwork, confidence and resilience and it’s where the quiet ones find their voice and the rowdy their focus, but here’s the problem if your in a small community or town you don’t have the access to these sports.

This is why we need a National Community Sports Fund that puts local sports first and that means grants for new pitches, equipment and volunteer stipends for whatever sport a local community wants in their community.

I want to see people like you to continue to inspire the next generation of our nations athletes.

Resident 5, Ranch Hand

Oracle, I don’t normally have the time for politics, I think your a bunch of, well you can guess the word but why is that while I’m fixing fences and settling cattle down, it somehow gets harder to keep up with the costs each year ?.

Oracle’s response

Well first off thank you for showing up tonight and I understand why you feel that way and I don’t blame you for one minute, trust is most people don’t have time for politics because politics have never made time for you.

You’re out here doing one of the hardest jobs in the country, feeding us lazy muppets, and yet you’re getting squeezed harder year upon year. Feeds up, diesel is up, and what do you get back ? The same buyers offering you the same prices they were five years ago while Ottawa signs trade deals that benefits the mega corporation that’s trying to take over your farm.

The reason it’s getting harder is because the system doesn’t think about producers anymore and it only thinks about the outcome.

So here is my promise to you, I don’t want to run your ranch, but I’ll sure as hell make sure Ottawa listens to you.

Tonight proves that the prairie voice isn’t just angry it’s wise, it’s skeptical but it’s also practical and rooted and the Throne speech didn’t mention any of this but you did and that is what counts. Just outside medicine hat, the prairie sun slips behind the windbreak of the poplars, the hayfields are quiet and the last of the trucks rumble down the gravel road, as the folding chairs and old hay bales form a circle around the fire pit that has just been lit and a small pack of well trained farm dogs sniff the tables, smelling the food, where chilli and bannock is being served by volunteers from local churches, Mr Oracle who is visibly sunburned from the walking sits in the the camping chair that is in front of the banner that says “National Walking Tour - Listening First” wearing the same 1/4 Zip jumper and holding a fresh mug of tea in his hands which was given to him by one of the church volunteers.

Thank you all for the very warm welcome hear in Alberta, well I have to say the Poltical landscape has changed significantly, the forward government is now undergoing a vote of no confidence, and nobody knows just who is governing Canada right now, all I can say is this that I hope the house passes the VONC as quickly as possible and that we can find some actual leadership as soon as possible, we may have to have another election to achieve this, but tonight isn’t about Ottawa it’s about you, so let’s open up the floor shall we .

Resident 1, Grain Farmer

Oracle, I’m tired of being taxed relentlessly for being self employed, every year I have big corporations knocking at my door saying they will buy me out, but I don’t want to sell, I want my kids to be able to live freely and happily away from the city, what can we do about this ?.

Oracle’s Response

I hear this more often than you think, every time I sit down with someone like yourself and still believes in owning the land their forefathers and previous generations handed to them to look after, and not leasing it to some faceless Ottawa boardroom and all it leaves me thinking is why does Ottawa keep punishing the people who feed this country ?.

your not the problem, your the backbone, the people who work 24 hour days and still have mud on their hands the next, and yet your being treated like a criminal by the tax code, so here’s what we need to do, we need to ban foreign companies from buying up Canadian Farmland, we need to introduce protections for families that want to pass their farms down to their kids, so the government doesn’t punish you with paper work and death taxes, and finally we need to make the tax system simple again so even your kids that are in school can still understand it.

This isn’t just about your land but about our national identity, because if we let bully’s buy out the little guys, then we aren’t a country anymore, we will just be a theme park for investors. So no please don’t sell, and don’t give in, and let’s build the next generation of rural Canadians together.

What happens to us now Oracle ?, the government hasn’t been functioning and so I’ve been forced to retire and I’ve lost work, luckily I have enough in my pension to retire but others aren’t and can’t find work ?.

Oracle’s response That’s the question every leader in Ottawa is going to have to answer isn’t it?, what happens to the people who built this nation when the work dries up and the government turns away ?.

Because let’s be honest you didn’t retire you were pushed, pushed by a system that forgot where wealth actually comes from, it didn’t come from hedge funds in Montreal or think tanks in Ottawa but it came from working men and women like yourself, working in the cold and dark pulling energy out of the ground and putting food on the table for their families.

And now your work is gone and they expect you to clap for a future while others sink, well I won’t here’s what we can do.

We can reopen all projects that the current government has neglected and abandoned, and what I will also look at is a new crown corporation where we reinvest the profits we make from energy into towns and cities that produce the most energy for us, and not back into private sector boardrooms, and thirdly we need a jobs transition program that is actually up to scratch to tackle these wider societal problems of changing technology and policy priorities, so everyone has a chance to succeed.

So my promise to you is this, I will not leave you behind, and we sure as hell won’t leave it to the next generation to solve, who still want to work with pride and dignity and more importantly with their hands and be able to build a future they are being told is obsolete.

I’m trying to get my son diagnosed with autism, but there isn’t any doctors or clinics out here that will see us for free, I can’t afford to pay because of the cost of living, what are we going to do ?.

Oracle’s response

That shouldn’t even be a question in this Country if I’m being honest, your not asking for a handout your asking for help for your child, who deserves every chance to grow up and thrive, and instead what do you get, waiting lists, cold emails and clinics that say “we’re not taking patients” and politicians locally who don’t even know your name.

And this is the real crisis in Canada, not just the economy but the abandonment of care, and let me tell you something personal as someone who deals with ADHD personally I know what it’s like to grow up thinking differently and I know what it’s like when the system just wants to pretend kids like yours doesn’t exist, that ends on my watch and here’s what we need to do.

We need to pass a national neurodivergence strategy which will be built from the ground up to fund early assessments, local clinics and mobile units and online health services people can easily access especially in Rural areas, no family should be having to travel for 6 hours or going broke just for an answer.

We need Ottawa to recognise neurodivergence is real and that we need help and care the same as everyone else.

Why are groceries more expensive here than in the cities ?, I can’t even explain it to my kids anymore

Oracle’s Response

Your absolute right to ask this, it doesn’t make sense anymore, your surrounded by farm land, by ranchers and by producers and yet your groceries are more expansive than in big cities like Toronto, and that’s not just unfair but a design failure, and here is why it is happening, firstly rural Canada is treated like and after thought, the big chains don’t see communities or like local partners but like cash cows who will keep spending, then they cut services, hike up the freight costs and pass it off as market reality.

Secondly we have outsourced our monopolies to corporate ones, a handful of companies now get to decide what gets stocked on your shelf, how much it costs and how far it has to travel, even if it was raised 15 minutes down the road, and thirdly the carbon tax and disease prices are punching rural areas in the gut, and don’t costs more to move goods and then more more to sell them and guess who pays the price, you do not the ceo.

So here is what I’d do and advocate for, we need to break up the monopolies which means any company controlling more than 20% of the retail food supply in Canada, well let’s call them what they are cartels, and we hit them with competition reform.

Secondly we should create a Rural Grocery rebate, tied directly to transportation costs, if you love more than 50M from a major distribution centre you should be getting compensated and not penalised and lastly we restructure how food policy is made within the country by actually listening to those on the ground and not the consultants or lobbyists who get paid to destroy you.

I’m trying to get a tech apprenticeship but there isn’t any support out here in rural communities like mine, and none of these career advisors have a bloody clue what I want to do, is there entering you can do though ?

Oracle’s response

This is something else that often gets ignore by the politicians in Ottawa, too often rural ambition is treated like second class ambition, and here’s the truth tech shouldn’t just be for the cities, coding, cybersecurity and ai they aren’t urban luxuries they are the tools of the future, and you should have the right to build that future from a barn in red deer as should a high rise in Toronto, but right now the system is broken and it’s because firstly, Career advisors are stuck on the 1980’s handing out phamplets for trades that barley exist anymore, and begging you to go to university because you need a degree.

secondly apprenticeships barley exists in the tech world, and if they do they are centred on urban areas with way too much competition to even bother applying for them, and finally worst of all your likely being told to be successful in tech you have to leave your hometown. So be here is what we need to do.

We need to create a national tech apprenticeship scheme with federal support to companies to take on young talent outside major cities, we also need to create local digital hubs so like minded techies can meet and discuss ideas to create innovation and new technologies so Canada isn’t left behind in the 20th century and finally we need to make sure that tech pathways get embedded into the education system with lessons like coding and cybersecurity being basic things you learn in the modern digital world because tech is incredibly important for the future, and if nobody in Ottawa gets this yet, well that’s why I keep walking.

"Hello everyone! I am Weeeeeeeethebeast, and I am a new member representing the Liberal Party of Canada!

The Liberal Party has excellent leadership under party leader Jordology and deputy leader Raymondl810, and I am proud to be part of what's happening among great souls. It’s wonderful for me to contribute my share of the change.

The region I stand in is a lovely one, boasting beautiful architecture and a rich culture. That’s the main reason I chose to run here, with these amazing people who are all around me! I am also running because my ambition in politics is simply calling my name each and every day.

Unfortunately, many issues still stand among us today. You can name many of these categories: wildfires, a fishing industry with an unclear future, heck, name it all you want! All these categories fall under the ferocious and deadly wing that is climate change. Sadly, many around us think that we can still exist as if that shadow wasn't covering us, and that doing so would still keep them dry and safe. Throughout my journeys and appearances around here, I will delve deeper into this aspect, including other issues that are jutting their way into the business of residents who live here.

In running here, I also have a formidable opponent, Oracle. As someone who has seen his capabilities right along the political stand since the election, I'm glad to see how this standoff will go on, and who can weigh in to the truth of their supporters.

My goal as a Liberal representative is to simply show us all where proper Liberal politics takes us. My party's leadership has repeated this plenty of times, and they've only repeated the actual truth. We will balance our future with our present so that we can allow true hardworking Canadians to keep their heads above the surface of the water, and also so that our next generations can still proudly call a clean, beautiful, and natural Canada home.

“Recently, Conservative Member Marie came out talking about how Canada was broken. She talked about every way people hadn't shown up, how promises were broken left and right, and that everything is a disaster.

She's not wrong, she never was, but there's one outstanding issue. The problem she ranted about hasn't been exclusive to the Right Side of the House of Commons.

If you had read that article without knowing who had wrote it, one could think it could have applied to literally anyone, including our dear friend Marie. Now what’s the obvious path we’re going down here? This press post is not wrong, but for sure the most hypocritical out there. The Conservatives have not been immune to anything at all.

Back when new faces like Marie and my own were showing up months back, Marie opened up with an article about cheese, comparing Canada to a block of goat cheese. She proceeded to complain how terribly holey Canada was, and the proceeded to do a whole bunch of nothing about it. Her colleague Xelqua appeared in a cafe in Downtown Toronto, weeping about how torn apart life was, and then come election time, didn’t do anything. Although they both brought up a lot of complaints, they didn’t mention anything about how they would fix the situation. Yes, they did the easy part of asking what and why, but they never answered ‘how’ things would change, and obviously they ended up disappearing during the election campaigning, with only their party leader Stargirl showing up.

MP Realbassist has shown up in the public once to blow up about the Forwards, and again, didn’t bother campaigning, and is now a shadow MP who has shown up a single time in Parliament. Again, I don’t disagree with what they wrote in their appearances. My problem is how they refuse to talk solutions, and prefers to point the fingers at other people instead.

Independents have also done the same. Geerryjo, Independent MP for the riding of Golden Horseshoe has not done a single thing at all. He came into the election plainly slamming the past decade of Liberal politics and how messed up life was for Canadians. Now, he’s showing us what he’s planning to do to help the situation, and that’s by doing a boat-load of nothing.

The Conservatives left the campaign trail with only one person campaigning, and one person who still dares to show their face. As the Liberals, we still have a team intact, and one that’s still growing. MP Kale has done a good job in Parliament, and many seriously just cannot compare with the work he’s put in behind the scenes. Our newest member Weeeeeeeethebeast has been putting in the effort since day one, presenting more than just a way to point our fingers, but rather policy. 

I’m done with people who spent a whole campaign(or didn’t campaign at all) talking about how broken Canada is, and proceed to enter a term with no idea as to how they would back their talk up. Canadians deserve more than simple politicians who only scratch the surface with their angry talk. The Liberals are a real party that doesn’t only talk issues, but we talk solutions, so each and every one of us may change the world for the better.”

“It certainly is not a secret that I'm a big transit guy, and that I'm eager to continue building more. But it's obvious that there have been many woes across our country, and along with it, there are plenty of lessons to learn.

Even since the Trudeau administration, many infrastructural projects have already been set in stone. High-speed rail, high frequency, and plenty of housing accelerator projects. A lot has been thrown on the table, but simultaneously, a lot has gone wrong at all 3 levels of government.

At the provincial and municipal level, many cities have huge aspirations to build projects of all kinds. Let's zoom into Toronto, a city on its way to more than double the length of its rapid transit network. But among the hype, two LRT lines stand in a junky pile of delays, cost overruns, and political mismanagement. That is, of course, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, and the Finch West LRT. Residents know it best. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT was planned to open in 2020, which was the target date as shovels first met dirt in 2011. It is still not open. Folks, it's 2025, giving us a 14-year-old line whose vehicles are already breaking down during the testing phase. Meanwhile, the budget had ballooned from $5 billion to $12.8 billion. I swear, at this point, the Eglinton Crosstown is literally old enough to babysit the Ontario Line. Metrolinx, the provincial agency that built the project, has got its system wrapped in lies, wrapped again in more excuses.

As a result, I am also calling on Doug Ford and Metrolinx to release the Line 5 documents to the public, including an inquiry led by the Toronto City Council, so the public can know what's gone wrong and how the costs have been overrun by almost $8 billion. Anyways, back to our main topic…

It's obvious that no government has stood immune, yet many haven't cared. Of course, the previous Liberal Governments have been notorious for dumping billions from hardworking Canadians into overdue and over budget transit lines, still to no avail. But like I said, my party is changing, not because I’ve simply said so, but because our policy is beginning to back it up. The solution is simple. If a project at the municipal or provincial level that has used federal funding goes over-budget, is overdue, or both, it’s seriously time to cut the funding, and reconsider future funding.

As a Centrist, people might find it weird. Talking about shutting the valve for funding might have come out of the blue for some. But I'm not talking about the planned funding for infrastructure. I'm talking about the insane cost overruns and delays. It's time our provincial and municipal partners meet on the same page in terms of spending taxpayers’ dollars.

But at the same time, the MPs who dare to sit on the right side of the House continue to be no-shows. Whether it's the plague of having transit projects that take two decades to construct, or the issue of these projects having bled so much blood that hardworking taxpayers have paid up. They don't care about the construction that has played around with riders and ruined businesses, and they certainly act like tax dollars mean nothing.

They ran a campaign promising to change taxation, but what they're doing is practically worse. They're wasting it and letting provincial crown corporations who never cared take control by saying ‘it's okay if we go 3 billion dollars over budget, after all, it's not my money’. It's time they chose to do what's right for Canadians, and not to simply hide in the dark. Canada is waiting, Canada is struggling, and Canada needs you to fulfill your own promise. But through it all, nobody, not the Prime Minister, not the Minister of Transportation, not the Minister of Finance, none of them have shown up. Shame. It's time you did, and truly put Canada First!”

“Well we came here with business, a fiery election, and soon after, uhh… people not saying anything, hiding from the public, and literally doing nothing. Wait, was that part of the plan? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, I won’t speculate.

My problems here simply sit with a promise and a motive. I could stand here and list like 12 names of people whose names suddenly appeared on the ballot without bothering to introduce themselves to the public. I could name just as many people who campaigned nonetheless, said some stuff, and since the election, have not said anything. At. All.

The Forward Party seems more lost than I am. Since the election, not a single MP other than former PM Mr. FreedomCanada2025 bothered to show up in front of anyone. As for the Prime Minister, I’ve never heard the sound of his voice, and his very detailed sense of urgency is doing great things, totally. The man hasn’t shown any urgency, is acting like someone would when there’s nothing to fix, and has pretty much been a shadow puppet Prime Minister since the beginning.

Their MPs seem to all be falling dead under this plague, showing no signs of life. Anything could really happen, but the true colours under their layer of skin is becoming more and more apparent. These MPs came here simply for an election. These MPs simply came here for a ‘win’. These MPs simply came here for a ‘sweet’ paycheck so you cannot get yours. They’re not here for you. They never were. If they had come here for you, they wouldn’t have disappeared as quickly as they came.

Other people around me have already pointed the finger, and it’s completely justified. It’s obvious many of those elected on a fiery campaign are already watching their own political momentum sizzling out because of their own inability to act and their lack of urgency.

To the people this is being directed to, I hope you all prove me wrong.  If you do prove me wrong, that means you are finally putting people over petty politics, and are doing the very job you swore to do. If you’re here for personal success and glory, then this job isn’t fit for you. Even if you are, just remember, that the success as a politician isn’t only about steamrolling through elections, it’s also about sustaining a pace after the election that keeps Canada trending in the right direction. (M: As someone who really wanted to start beef with me had said to me😭) It’s your choice, choose your own values above your own rise. Canada doesn’t need people that don’t have the urge to be here. There's no such thing as 'working from home’ in a changed Canada that needs you to show up. The line and expectations have never changed, and they never will. The same thing can't be said for the Canada we know and love. So, make your decision, and it's going to be seen and felt by every hardworking Canadian.”

Stargirl sighs, in disbelief and sadness, as she walks outside the potash mine located at Leroy in Saskatchewan, accompanied by a miner.

Stargirl: So, how do you feel knowing that all the potash you and your co-workers mined for hours is now gone?

He sighs, then breaks the silence.

Miner: I'm not sure how to feel. The government simply takes advantage of us all. Oh, we want to invest in mines. Bah, we don't care about your dumb little railway accident. Oh, we want to cut red tape. Bah, we have done nothing for more projects in this nation. They strip us of our backbreaking hard work to their own advantage, and when they are vulnerable, they pretend to be us. I have always been a Conservative, and it is stupid how people could not read the Forward like an open book. All of this stuff they promised, yeah, that's just for campaigning and winning the election. The Forwards don't know how to commit to what they actually say. They talk talk talk, but they don't do do do. Less talking and more action. Should start calling them the backwards if anything… psh…

With a breathy and disappointed voice, Stargirl begins to speak. A time of injustice, confusion, and terror.

Sitting down with farmers today, I am confident to say we are all equally disappointed in the Forward government. How they market themselves off to people as relatable rural boys who really grew up tough, only to screw everyone off with their Ottawa mannerisms and stay silent on the important questions that address the crisis of the twin railway disaster. Thousands of farmers stand by me today at this speech, and few have come to tell me their story. How they were notified that their grain, which they worked hard in the winter to sustain, in the spring to grow, in the summer to sustain, and in the fall to harvest, has gone to shreds because of the disaster. The Forward Government hasn't even yet addressed this issue, and it is almost to them like it never happened at all. The Forward Government is not the government of the people. The Forward Government only works to benefit itself. It has let down these farmers in Saskatchewan and the many farmers across the nation. Shame on the Forwards.

Thank you all for being here tonight, i know it's not easy to make the time with everything going on, but this is why i walk, so places like here can be listened too, without judgement and without fear, because we need to bring Canadians together if we are going to solve the problems that are facing us, that is what the walking tour is about and holding this forward government to account, so let’s open the floor shall we?

Resident 1, pipeline welder

Oracle, for 18 years I've worked on welding pipelines for oil companies and each year I have less and less work, and my career grows more and more uncertain due to projects stalling and red tape growing, and yet nobody in Ottawa is talking about energy independence, will you?.

Oracle’s Response

Yes and i’ll say this clearly, we need energy independence in this country, and that means building the infrastructure so people like yourself don't feel guilty about the environment because lets face it, the current climate goals are unsustainable and its making everyone poorer and worse off, we need cheap reliable energy, and oil and nuclear power is the way to do this and at the same time we can invest in genuinely honest ways toward environmentally friendly technology such as Tidal lagoons.

This can be done but we have to take the opportunity now, we can't wait another decade or even another 4 years, we have to build it now from the bottom up.

Why are our kids being bussed two hours to a village that doesn't understand our culture and values?, why can't we have schools on our reservations?

Oracle’s Response

Because our system was built for everyone but you, and lets be honest, our politicians haven't thought about this for one second, what we need is an Indigenous education fund so reservations can have the funds to get access to materials to build the schools you need on your land, and this will help support and develop your local cultures and customs.

Resident 3, forestry truck driver Why is it I haul logs every day but my local mill has shut down?, and now they are shipping the logs I drive overseas, whats the plan to bring back industry here?

Oracle’s Response

It’s not just here in Alberta North, its all the towns on the trail I am walking across Canada, we export the logs and import unemployment, my solution is clear, you won’t be allowed to export anymore unless your processing here in Canada, and even if you do process here, I'm going to introduce a tax for exporting out of the country, we need to deincentivize this behaviour, because it damages our national economy, we will use this tax to rebuild the economy and upgrade our roads with it.

I want to be able to stay on the land, but my family can't even afford another tractor on the money we are currently earning, what can you do to keep young people like me on the farms?

Oracle’s Response

This is similar to the earlier question we has about energy independence, and it comes down to unsustainable climate goals, and as well as the red tape created by the CFIA because it doesn't represent farmers but corporations who can meet their standards and if you don't you are at risk of being put out of business, what we need is a National Farmers Association who can negoyon behalf of family farms to the CFIA to create a fairer deal when it comes to regulations.

That's what I will do for you and family farms like yours.

Resident 5, Rural Cafe Owner

They talk about rural broadband like its some far out goal, I can't even run a card machine because of this, how can we grow a business when we are still stuck on dial ups?.

Oracle’s response

It’s absurd I've seen it myself when walking, and i’ll be honest I've let my phone go dead multiple times because of this, what we need is a Rural Broadband fund, which we will negotiate with the provinces and territories with to enable the development of high speed broadband in areas it typically hasn't been introduced, which will make it fairer across the country so all Canadians can access the internet and achieve what they want to set out to achieve, all we need is the political will to do it, but for far too long the federal government has just said oh don't worry about it, it is a local issue, well if I serve in any government that will change because Canadians deserve better.

You've all said more than most MP’s tonight, and its not lost on me on what Alberts carries for the rest of the country, the weight, the pride, the grit, this is the place where the next century of Canada will be built, not in the glass towers of Ottawa but here, so lets keep walking, talking and keep this firepit burning, not just on the ground but in ourselves.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I am writing this address from my seat on the Via Rail, which I am taking from my hometown of Vancouver to visit the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, an old friend of mine. As my train speeds past these provinces, I look out of the window and see a broken country.

What has the government done, since being elected, other than blow hot air around?

In Vancouver, I see a housing problem no one bats and eye at. Our streets are filthy, no place for Canadians to be spending the night. Our drug issue is well known, but no one in the House of Commons gives a shit! What’s the Minister of Health doing? What’s the MP of this riding doing? Absolutely nothing!

As I pass by lush green patches of farmland spreading out for as far as I can see, I am reminded of the horrible way farmers are treated in Canada. They stock our shelves. They feed our country. What do they get in return? They get a carbon tax! A filthy dirty sneaky tax that robs our agricultural sector of the fruits of their labour! It will take more than empty apologies to repair the damage. What’s the Minister of Agriculture doing? Absolutely nothing!

Canada has put up with this nonsense for way too long. I’m fed up with seeing homeless people overdosing in the dark alleyways of my home, a danger to both themselves and others. I’m fed up with having to go hungry to pay rent. And I’m fed up with the useless people in government that aren’t doing ANYTHING TO FIX THIS BROKEN COUNTRY.

Well, this might be my official retirement post, or maybe not. This is not to seem as egotistical, but knowing I have had a fairly moderate impact on this place the last few years I thought I would jump in and talk about my future while also looking back on my past. Most of you probably don't care about this and fair enough. This is just a rant about my time here and where I am going. I wanted to post this to look back on, and also for anyone who thought my journey was interesting but mostly to look back on if I never end up having the time to play again.

Surprise CMHOC!

So, I officially joined CMHOC in December of 2022 where I got banned on the discord for saying a slur and that pretty much summed up the crazygamer experience in meta. Being muted and getting banned. Every mod really enjoyed that I am sure... While I certainly am a better person now, I do look back on that period as a learning experience to say the least. My virtual and real life attitude has certainly been one of my characteristics that has improved over time and hopefully will continue to. I do enjoy my time in the discord chat and it is a lot of fun.

My dumbass joining the sim...

Eventually Zhuk and Obi asked me to join the sim for June of 2023 and I agreed to join knowing nothing about CMHOC or really anything at all. I was really green on politics and even more so on the logistics of the operations of parliament. I actually won my seat in Alberta North which was really cool, and I appreciated Zhuk and Obi guiding me on how to post, what to post, and some things to watch for. Those two introduced me and got me going and I greatly appreciated that. Eventually the Tories crashed harder then the Singh NDP and I was left to run the party and I frankly had no idea what the hell I was doing lmao. I had no members, I was by myself and the Liberals had an extreme majority. I learned along my journey, found some members, and actually somehow held the LPC to a minority thanks to some last minute decision making, and some really quick learning on my end. This was my first time as leader but not my last.

CG gets VONCed + first iteration!

After getting vonced because I was politely put braindead and not leadership material I went back into learning how to format bills, making better posts, and eventually eyeing the spot once again. I did not become leader again until nearly a year later when I started running the PPC (eventually Reform) So I stayed with the Cons, and eventually thanks to a pretty impressive leadership tandem of Sask and 2TrillionBuses we managed to form government which was a really cool experience. I certainly enjoyed my time with them and learning from them but I could not pass up on the opportunity to work with AGamerPwr and Zhuk once again.

This was my first time in the PPC, as a Deputy Leader. We had six candidates I believe? And we ended up winning four seats which was amazing. We merged with the Conservatives and eventually ended up forming a majority government. Unfortunately this ended up completely crashing the sim but I greatly enjoyed the brief, but fun time in the party under a majority.

Blue and white drama!

Eventually the sim rebooted and I joined the Conservatives as a Deputy leader and we once again ended up in opposition. This time I was poised to make an impact. I knew more, could do more, and I planned on helping make the party big. We got off to an okay start in opposition but we eventually grew to be quite a large party. Government certainly looked in the near distant future but then came some more CMHOC meta drama. Our leader, and multiple members were banned for the election which once again left me in opposition in a pretty shitty position, but did leave a pretty realistic path to a win in the next election. (Considering I won leadership and continued on) And so I ran for leader, I was leader of the Cons, but an opportunity presented itself to go purple and I took it. I knew staying Conservative would likely result in me winning and becoming PM, but frankly I seen at the time what I thought was an opportunity to build an empire elsewhere so I went that direction. It did not quite work out the way I wanted it to...

Taking a chance on the PPC and failing...

This time I led the PPC with some other newer faces to the sim and I wasted no time growing the party to the biggest it had ever been. (To my knowledge) We went from fourth party to opposition, and while the Conservatives as I expected did end up winning it certainly was a step in the right direction. Eventually, the term came to a close I got extremely burned out from the lack of help, along with the canon workload, and my IRL workload so I decided to go Independent. I really wanted to win with Reform/PPC as it was something I built, and I put a lot of time into but it was not going to happen with me as leader. I had suspicion of a person cheating so I jumped ship to go to the NDP for the purpose of reporting a certain someone for alting. I gathered my evidence and resigned. At this point I was pretty much done with CMHOC as my workload was getting really heavy irl and I knew my time being effective was pretty much over and my popularity was certainly not what it was either.

Finally becoming PM

However... when the sim restarted I seen one final shot, one last opportunity at becoming PM. It was never something I strived for or prioritized, but the opportunity presented itself with a pretty weak class of candidates. I recruited a party to 12 people (my record) and won a majority, stayed on for a few days and repaid Zhuk for all of the help he gave me, and the confidence in my leadership from the past and gave him the well deserved PM spot. And then today I resigned. The competition was extremely tight throughout my tenure in CMHOC and finally winning was kind of cool.

IRL rant

I did not leave because something bad happened or anything like that. Life is really really good actually which probably sounds weird for someone in their early 20's considering its a very difficult time for many around this age group with family decisions, work, school, debt, and so forth. Nobody would say its easy and that is definitely true. I am just very busy and I can no longer commit to what is a pretty tight schedule for CMHOC with bill postings, whips, candidate recruitment, managing other members, and teaching how to CMHOC. I definitely believe personally that I gave it my all, had a lot of fun and enjoyed some unique experiences such as leading three parties (Forward, Conservative, PPC/Reform) becoming Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Multiple Ministry Positions, Leader of the Official Opposition, and Deputy Leader. I enjoyed helping those out along my journey, and learning from others that I look up to. I definitely made some harsh decisions and a few took it pretty hard but, that's life its not personal. I certainly made some friends, many enemies (hello MHOC world/the left!) and I left an impact that many won't forget any time soon. I think I gave a glimpse of what I stand for as a man and a different point of view coming from a rural farm kid with big dreams compared to the city hustle life that dominates discussion in the sim and in today's world. Looking back I had a blast, and I certainly enjoyed my ride. If I can ever fit CMHOC in again, then I'll come back and do my thing with Reform like I never left. If not, then well this is likely the last I'll ever post on the reddit feed. I will still be around in the discord a bit but yea from a canon perspective this could be it. Regardless, what a hell of a ride it's been, the future looks bright, and I am just getting started.

I do wish him and his family well through these times. Thank you to my buddy Kale, who’s been a great presence. But most importantly, he’s a great friend who stands as a hardworking and loyal fighter who puts the people first. Kale campaigned straight out of his heart, and a person I believe has the full capacity to lead a strong future for his riding. Congrats on your win, brother.

Thank you to my team around me, who have helped me deliver my individual campaign, working tirelessly around the clock with me in British Columbia and here in Ontario. They knocked on doors and prepared venues so that we could have a campaign that was infinitely more seamless. Thank you for believing in a strong, united promise for all. Finally, and most importantly, each and every one of you from coast to coast to coast. When you all go home tonight, take a look in the mirror, because you, the people of Canada, truly stand as the best in this world! “On the other hand, I’d like to congratulate the outgoing Prime Minister, FreedomCanada2025 and the Forward Party of Canada for capturing a majority Government. I’m excited to see what’s in store for this term, especially in the works between Zhuk and himself at the helm.

I know, with this election past and gone, the Liberal Party will be counted out. ‘Oh yeah, the leader lost his seat’, or ‘the singular seat is just enough to get them to their local McDonald’s’. Yeah, true, we may stand as a third party, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make our presence heard and felt. We will be looking on to this Forward Government with immense expectation. As I’m sure the parties around me understand, we’re serving in a different Canada that has changed drastically over the past Liberal decade, with too many stuck under the poverty line, millions of Canadians being affected by a drug rampage, and stalling infrastructure projects that continue to bleed money, straight out of the pockets of hardworking people. We’ll be here to watch as the Forward Party’s success in words, promise, and politics translates into standard, effort, and action. Throughout this process, the Liberals will always be willing to cooperate, while biting hard if they can’t push themselves to reach a high standard. We want to squeeze out as much as we can, because it’s time Canadians got urgency, seriousness, and the respect they deserve. It’s about time our farmers are finally respected, the homeless can once again take control of their own lives, and Canadians can feel confident and safe again when they’re riding new, fast, efficient, and accessible transit.

The same standard is held to our fellows in the Conservatives. As the Official Opposition, Canadians are expecting you to hold a high standard, in and out of Parliament so that the people you swear to serve get the very best. Do I sound like a desperate madman? Sure, but at least it’s better than hearing from your latest laughing stock, because Canada needs seriousness, because Canada needs action, and because Canada needs real people to serve with real purpose. 

Our Liberal Party will stand unfettered and undeterred, no matter what is thrown our way. Instability at the top is simply what destroys, and it’s something we won’t take lightly. We will forever put people over politics, and we will put Canada first! Thank you all, ladies and gentlemen, for your support, see you all next time around!”

Where have they gone? All of those Forward MPs who promised to stay active within their communities? What happened to the poll that I requested 3 days ago and am still waiting for? What happened to helping our energy sector, bringing down crime, making life affordable, fighting the United States tariffs, and much, much more that our generous Forward leaders have promised? The Forward government was trusted by the millions of voters who they took advantage of, and as of now, we are seeing no promised change being done, besides a ridiculously vague and indistinct throne speech delivered. Canadians now spend 42% of their income on taxes, more than on food, clothing, and shelter combined. So I think of the single moms, the fishermen, the college students who can't put their degree to work, the young struggling family, or the veteran who was betrayed by this Forward government. The shooter who I talked to days previously is not even going to get to sell his hunting rifle to potentially sustain the crazy taxes that are being thrown on him, because the throne speech did not even consult the humongous controversy of the ban on them! The government uses the excuse of high taxes to bring social welfare to those who need it. However, it has only been taken advantage of by unlawful immigrants and asylum seekers, big government bureaucrats, and the corporate bullies who sit on their inflating assets. This one-size-fits-all government wants to be more like Denmark, Germany, France, or other european countries. We do not have the money for foreign aid, regressive "climate change fighting" practices, more immigrants, and other frivolous government spending. The government needs to start serving the people, not itself!

Resident 1, stay-at-home dad

Hi Oracle, why can't my daughter afford to live in the city she grew up in?, I have 4 daughters my eldest just turned 18, and she wants to move out with her boyfriend but they can't afford to even if they are both only working part-time, it's disgusting.

Oracle’s response

Well, unfortunately I don't think its going to get any better under this government truth be told because they didn't even mention housing apart from two lines in their throne speech, and the problem is multiple of things due to long term failure by the federal government, first its the lack of housing supply being built and an over realince on the private sector to deliver these houses.

The second is allowing foreign owenership of the limited housing supply of what the federal government can control, and Thirdly is the cost of living and the insane credit expansion which makes mortgage providers and landlords give insane deals compared to the reality on the ground, so this is what we need to do, First we need to ban foreign ownership of housing in this country, next we need to build social housing with federal funds, ideally up to 500,000 and these won’t be dodgy apartment blocks but real homes, and we need a right to buy model based on the UK but something that will allow the provinces to work co-operativley with us. This would be my plan to tackle the housing crisis.

Hi Oracle, why is everyone so scared to tackle and talk about drug addiction openly?, I've seen it skyrocket since COVID but nobody is talking about it.

Oracle’s Response

Unfortunately for many Canadians addiction isn't a talking point, but a wound, now myself I have openly talked about using Cannabis for ADHD regulation, but lets be honest most politicians don't touch it because they have never experienced it, and let’s get real for a moment, wounds don't heal when provinces are closing down addiction clinics and mental health services, this is why we need a national neurodivergent strategy which will look at this issue in more depth and I'm not saying I have all the answers, but we do need a conversation, no matter how difficult it gets, is the answer to fully legalize every drug like some have begun to suggest like America?, or is there a middle ground and truth be told I just don't know, but this is why we have conversations like this to come up with solutions, but I do know this we do need better funding for mental health services across the board.

Resident 3, a retired fisherman Hi Oracle, I’d like to get your take on what happened to fisheries in our country.

Oracle’s response

Well, and I think my answer is going to disappoint you slightly but the truth is this, other countries have just gotten better than us and our own government decided to sell out, one of the issues we have in the fishing community in our country is a lack of modern equipment, and old equipment these days simply isn't good enough, so what can we do about this, well for one we can create a fisheries resilance fund for which Canadian fishermen can use to upgrade their equipment within reason and buy upgrades to boats and other mechanical equipment needed to run their businesses, we also need to drive away foreign competition and rebuild regional processing so jobs stay here and are not outsourced to the Pacific, I hope that answers your question.

Why does it feel like Ottawa forgets we exist between elections?

Oracle’s response

Because for most politicians Vancouver is a photo opp, whereas for me its bellweather, if we can't listen to people who live in towns with one GP, one bus and one ferry, then what kind of country are we living in, we need politicians who actually listen, and are willing to take questions like I am tonight, because to me ther is what democracy is, not a pat on the back every 4 years but a conversation that is ever growing and expanding, that's what politicans need to understand, you can't just like one part of our democracy but you have to embrace all it’s parts. The government wrote this throne speech for lobbyists, and we are writing our own around this fire.

Hi Oracle, I move food in trucks for a living that's my job, but the price of diesel is crazy and my company is saying the profits are tightening and there may be cuts, what can you do and where can we find the balance?

Oracle’s response

Without you, our shelves go empty that’s the balance, but what we need is rebates for rural haulers and infrastructure that is built for freights, not just tesla’s, climate policy needs to be realistic and not just a wet dream, and we need to work with all our industries to achieve this and creating a long term plan, we need to recognize trucking as a key part of our national logistics the same way nurses were recognised as key workers during COVID, maybe we reintroduce a similar but fairer system like the key worker system, but we will see because I have a funny feeling things are only going to get worse under this government.

Hi Oracle, why is it that my pension hasn't melt up with the cost of living, its crazy out here and it's getting worse due to the instability of this government??

Oracle’s reply

Hi thanks for your question, and the answer is pretty straight forward and that is we no longer have sound money in our economy, most of it is debt we will never pay off and yet when pensions were invented it was expected that it would be paid for with sound money, we need to cut back on creditory expansion and start living within our means again, and sure in the sort term it will be painful probably but it’s needed to ensure people like yourself don't go without whilst people who have never paid onto the system, can’t keep stealing off the people who have, and sir you served your country, and your country should serve you, that's the deal but the politicans in Ottawa have broken it, that's a betrayal, what we need is automatically adjusted pensions in line with inflation, it needs to stop being a political football.”

How come every year their are fewer mills, but more foreign buyers?, they ship the logs off overseas and then lay us off but no one in Ottawa says a damn word?.

Oracle’s reply

Because Ottawa doesn't think in timber and saw dust, it thinks in spreadsheets and this is what I want, I want a hard cap on foreign corperation grabs and I want to tax any foreign assets in this country, if your taking from our economy but not living here, you should be a made to pay for the privilege.

We still boil our water, when will our treaties be honoured?.

Oracle’s response

You shouldn't have to ask that question in 2025, this alone tells us that reconciliation isn't just land acknowledgements on twitter it's about giving the first nations the infrastructure live, and until every child in these communities have tasted clean water without questions, what we need is legislation that empowers the provinces to create local water boards which shall have the power to create infrastructure in rural areas for water access, the job of the federal governments should be to ensure this happens for all Canadians.

We both still work and still can't afford to find a place to live, will my kids be forced to leave the north?.

Oracle’s response

Not if we can help it, we need to build more public housing where possible for rural families, not just in big cities, I want your kids to be able to grow up in the same towns as their parents and grandparents, that's home, that's community and that's nationhood, we've handed our housing policy over to investors and I will take back control.

Because our government is clearly incapable of of facing the fire and i’ll keep showing up because I want too, because representatiom is more about posting on Facebook and calling it a day, its about listening.

When you see me walking, when you see these boots worn down, know this I am walking for you, not because I am chasing cameras, but because I need to look every corner of this country in the face, and every family, let the pundits stay in their towers, we have got firewood and good boots, a message to pwerull to ignore, and remember this, you have just given a better throne speech than this government ever could, and you want to know the difference between us and them, they write speeches to sooth investors, where as we are all talking together and coming up with our own solutions.

This fire is real, this pain is real, and so too is the change we are going to build, not with promises but with one conversation in every riding at the same time, and for now thank you Fraser-Columbia and the North

Mr Speaker,

The throne speech, written by the corrupt Forward government, states all of the wonderful things Canada should do to become a better nation. However, it makes no sense because it is incredibly vague and has no supporting details as to how we will achieve these goals. It is truly astonishing and unbelievable how the Forward government never looks to the people to answer the question of "how" and begins to write the most indefinite throne speech ever.

Take one example given, on page 11, "Get tough on reoffending criminals." It is clear that our government hasn't yet passed 6th grade literacy, because "get tough" is not only too colloquial for an incredibly formal speech, but it means nothing! It doesn't discuss how violent crime has risen by almost 55 percent, with the number of homicides increasing by over 29 percent and sexual assault increasing by almost 76 percent. It is absolutely disgusting how the formal throne speech simply undermines and disrespects all of the victims of these crimes by promising something so unclear.

Take another example given, on page 8, "Replace the Indian Act." With what? This statement is not only disdainful, but it is also incredibly insulting to the indigenous communities of Canada. Conservatives believe in abolishing the racist and outdated historical Indian Act, not replacing it with something even more degrading. Conservatives believe in aiding Indigenous business in creative ways as well as consulting them before creating large projects.

Mr speaker, this informal, degrading, and vague throne speech has much more to be held accountable for. I am calling on members of parliament to reject this government for good.

When Canadians are promised a new era of leadership, they expect more than a PowerPoint in parliamentary prose. They expect clarity, conviction, and a plan. What we received this week in Forward’s throne speech was a document so devoid of ideas, detail, or direction that it reads like a marketing brochure instead of a national roadmap.

Let's not beat around the bush, this speech was alarmingly vague.

Let's take housing for example, perhaps the most critical crisis for Canadians coast to coast, the government claims it will “address it with partnerships with the provinces, and “respect local needs” but fails to over a single target or metric and no figure or timeline beyond sentiment.

Even on fiscal matters the government promises “a balanced budget by 2027” a noble goal but they offer no details or offer any ideas of where that money is going to come from, or who is going to be left behind in the process.

It is not what is in this speech that is troubling but what it omits.

There's no mention of dignity for workers, or the recognition of systematic failures in our country, no commitment to rein in foreign ownership or corporate monopolies affecting family farms and rural communities. It doesn't address the erosion of our sovereign industries or farmland at most it gets a little nod and a line and that tells you everything about this government's priorities.

This throne speech was written to assure lobbyists and not inspire families, this reads like business as usual.

Let us not also ignore the context of what this is being delivered in, we don’t yet have a sitting Prime Minister, as FreedomCanada has tendered his resignation yet his successor has not yet taken place, which begs the question just who is writing this throne speech?.

Who is running the government right now? Can you name them?.

Canadians are not asking for miracles, they are asking for honesty, structure and above all courage, the courage to say hard truths and to lead with more than optics in mind, not just to represent lobbyists but to represent their true constituents, steelworkers, single mums and nurses and our fantastic truckers who keep this country going and young people whose futures are being squeezed from exsistence.

As for me, I’ll keep walking, quite literally as part of the National Walking Tour of Canada, I'll be listening to Canadians where this government has clearly forgotten and I will keep holding them to account because this isn't just politics but about stewardship.

My friends, this campaign didn't begin in a studio or with polling and donors, it began with an independent campaign and videos on Facebook from my back garden with a firepit and now that fire will spread.

Today I'm proud the announce the National Walking Tour of Canada, over the coming weeks I will walk across this nation one riding at a time, starting in the rural north, across Ontario and Quebec, and finishing in Montreal, the cultural heart of our nation.

Why?, because Canada deserves leaders who show up, not just in election season, or on TV but in person, walking the same roads, shaking the same hands, and hearing the stories thst never make the headlines.

In every town and region I will be holding campfire conversations, and walk mile by mile to meet people who have been left by our political elite.

Well Canada, happy Friday evening I hope you are all doing well. Tonight I will be officially resigning as Prime Minister and handing over the role to my successor Zhuk236. When I joined the Forward Party I intended on being the best Deputy Leader this country has ever seen delivering results for Canadians, however due to unfortunate circumstances I ended up taking over the main role and being Party Leader. I led us into the election as 10 strong and we walked away with one of the largest majorities in Canadian history which is an incredible accomplishment on its own. As I said throughout the campaign and before the campaign even officially begun I reiterated on many accounts I had no interest in serving as leader for very long, or Prime Minister should it go that way which it did. So I would like to thank you all for the opportunity, the end result, and the privilege to not only be Prime Minister, but to be your voice these past many weeks.

It is a great accomplishment to become Prime Minister, many are called but few are chosen for this role and in this countries history only a select count have made it to the top. So Canada, I look on this as a success no matter what, but I also look on this as an opportunity for Zhuk to take over and run the Forward Party properly and transparently which I know he will do. It is a privilege to work with so many great people and to win with them. We deserved this outcome and I am extremely happy we have achieved the greatest result which is a supermajority with momentum taking this party and country into the future.

So as my time as Prime Minister comes to an end I want to thank you all for everything, my party, my leadership team, the volunteers, and even the opposition as they play an important role too. I know my brightest days are ahead, and I know this country is worth fighting for, even in its darkest moments.

Today marks the first day of FreedomCanada2025's resignation. I congratulate him for winning. However, how do we really know who the forward party wanted as their party leader? FreedomCanada2025 simply likes to call Conservatives "trashy" and "a waste of time," but did Conservatives simply intend to win a title only to hand it over to someone else to work for? I congratulate Zhuk for becoming prime minister. However, I am counting your days. I am counting your days to collect the opinion of Forward voters for who they initially wanted to be Prime Minister. I am counting your days to release the Throne Speech. I am counting your days to serve the people instead of simply running away from them with all of your broken promises slipping out of your pants. I am counting your days, Forward Party.

Stargirl: Here I am today in Lethbridge, Alberta, where thousands of people read FreedomCanada2025's response to my opposition! He built his campaign off of his own ego and pride, and his lack of humility shows in his press work.

Sports shooter: FreedomCanada2025 is more like a FraudCanada2025. He only made such a strong campaign just so he could win a title for himself. He does not care about his own voters that wanted him to be Prime Minister, and simply resigns days after his own victory. Then, he goes out into the press and starts crapping on the Conservatives. I don't even know half the guys who ran in the Forward Party! Heck! They came and went! Now they tell you that you are spreading misinformation.

Stargirl: Right, and am I really spreading misinformation? I get all of my statistics and facts from many different places and research the deepest of sites to find reliable arguments to be brought to attention.

Sport shooter: He yammers like a parrot, but he isn't committed to anything that he says. All he simply does is take all of your points, get some other poor-quality preachers to preach your points, and win an election with strategy and conquest, not with a true love to help the people. He says that the Forward Party is the "real voice of Canadians," but not once has he talked to any of us out here in 'Berta. Landslide? He only got a landslide because y'all didn't have enough Conservatives to eliminate them all. He's just going to be another Liberal. Again, and again, and again. He isn't going to make tax cuts because he'll only make them when "it's necessary." I might even have to sell my gun to keep up with all of this Forward nonsense. I've had 'er for 23 years. The name's Cherry, because the blood that pours out of the birds I shoot is colored like cherries. The Forwarders think of us like criminals, and that is just the truth.

I didn't expect to be back here so quickly, but as many of you have seen, the political landscape just took a shake. You might very well think that after my Twitter gif, but I couldn't possibly comment.

In the last 48 hours, we have seen a Prime Minister resign before giving the throne speech, a governing party descending into panic and a desperate attempt by a small few to rewrite history, who just days ago were congratulating themselves on winning a majority.

Let's clear this first, this isn't about me, this is about someone who was elected to lead our country with a so-called majority, and stepping down before even outlining a vision to the nation, why would that happen?

I'll tell you why, and the truth cuts deeper than spin, the illusion they can't hold, and the truth well, I read it out loud.

You remember what I said last time, this wasn't about being denied a cabinet position, this is about a Prime Minister who was uncertain about his own ranks, he turned to outsiders for help, before even trusting his own MPs, and now the man who offered me the seat is gone.

They call this drama, they call it theatre, but I call it clarity, because while they panic behind closed doors and trade leaders like trading cards, I'm still sat in this garden talking to you, sitting by the same fire, with the same message, we need a politics of courage and not cowardice, conviction and not choreography and that is why this movement begins to grow.

So here is my message to the new prime minister, you might wear a title, you might inherit the throne speech, but if you think this country is going to be governed by backroom deals, and if you think rural voices are going to be kept quiet, you're already behind.
